Wedding Functions
Mehndi
The bride shares, “My heart was set on having earthy elements with foliage for the mehndi. We fused contemporary elements with white and green hues to create a soothing color palette.
A backdrop depicted with palm trees reminded me of my beloved home state – Kerala. Vintage furnishings and earthy vases were the design elements we used to bring the entire event together.”

At the Mayra, minimalism was key with simple floral setups. As per the groom’s wishes the design was kept traditional yet fuss-free.

Haldi
The bride shares, “Haldi was the most playful event for us – right from all the games with the anchor and the live bangle-making station. Wedding
The groom’s baraat had all the right elements – an elephant, horses, a Jodhpuri-style band and all things fun! The baraat welcome rituals were followed by a traditional sit-down lunch. The bride gives us an overview of the setup, “During our wedding planning discussions with the planning team, I conveyed my wish to have a sundowner post-pheras photoshoot. Needless to say, I was able to get the shots I wanted! Coming to the design, I was keen on an entry gate overlooking the mandap. Achieving that in our limited space was difficult, but the team ensured I got the look I envisioned with a pastel-hued mandap to compliment my red lehenga.”

Reception
The couple wanted the reception to be all things traditional in the design story to reflect the culture of Jodhpur and Trivandrum. It was a meet-and-greet soiree with old-school sofas, vintage knick-knacks, candles and a Polaroid photo booth as a part of the decor. Folk musicians ensured everyone was grooving as the night progressed.
