Isha Ambani And Anand Piramal’s Engagement At Lake Como Will Leave You Swooning

Wedding announcements seem to have taken over the Ambani household this year. After Mukesh Ambani’s son Akash exchanged rings with his longtime girlfriend Shloka Mehta earlier this year, it was Isha Ambani’s turn to take things to the next level with beau Anand Piramal. As children of billionaire parents, they knew the occasion would involve nothing less than a grand gala at an exotic European paradise.
For this A-list couple, it was one of the most scenic spots in Italy – Lake Como, that fit the bill as their ideal engagement venue. Their three-day celebrations there had lots in store for their glamorous guests that included Bollywood heavyweights.
On the day of the engagement, Isha Ambani made an appearance in a gorgeous gown by Dolce & Gabbana. The dress is from a rare collection by the Italian fashion house. The Alta Moda macramé lace ensemble was complete with floral and crystal embroidery that enhanced the beauty of the delicate fabric and its palette of soft colors. Anand Piramal, on the other hand, opted for a traditional outfit that was resplendent with skilfully embroidered motifs.
Exotic blooms made for the key decor element at the ceremony which was included a performance by R&B singer and composer John Legend at night. While bright lights were used to set the right tone for this after party, the romantic ballads by the ‘All of Me’ singer created a dreamy mood that added to the excitement and emotional quotient of the event.
From fireworks over Lake Como with the lush mountains behind to the charming flower shower as the two exchanged rings and the elaborate lunches that followed – every aspect of this glitzy affair was impeccably planned and choreographed. The event was attended by the cream of the business and entertainment industries. Juhi Chawla, Sonam Kapoor, Aamir Khan, Karan Johar, Anil Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas, Manish Malhotra, Janhvi Kapoor were only some of the Bollywood A-listers who were spotted there.
