Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal’s Sangeet in Udaipur had the biggest names from Bollywood, politics, sports and the business industry in attendance in attendance. Besides the Ambani family, who set the stage on fire, everyone from Shahrukh Khan to Beyonce put up spectacular dance performances. Here are some of our favorites:
1. Mother of the bride, Nita Ambani, kicked off the sangeet celebrations with a touching performance to Madhurāṣṭakam, a Sanskrit composition by the Hindu Bhakti philosopher-poet Sripad Vallabha Acharya in devotion of Krishna with vocals by Shreya Ghoshal.
2. Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal danced to the tunes of ‘Mitwa’ from Shah Rukh Khan’s hit movie, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna.
3. Mrs Ambani was seen grooving with her sons, Anant Ambani and Akash Ambani on ‘Mahi Ve’ from Kal Ho Naa Ho.
4. Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gauri set the dance floor on fire as they dance to ‘Dilliwali Girlfriend.’
5. Salman Khan and Anant Ambani dance to the classic ‘Koi Mil Gaya’ from ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’.
6. Mukesh and Nita Ambani sway to the words of ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ before Anand Ambani and Shloka Mehta steal the show.
7. Make way for the most awaited performance of the night! Give it up for Beyonce!
8. Aishwarya and Abhishek dance to their famous song ‘Tere Bina’ from ‘Guru’.
9. Karan Johar and Isha Ambani dance to the tunes of ‘Bole Choodiyan’.
