Jigyasa and Durgesh’s Pre-Wedding Shoot in Paris

Because there’s nothing more romantic than being able to say, “We’ll always have Paris”, and mean it.
Durgesh knew that whisking Jigyasa off to Paris to ask her to marry him would guarantee a ‘yes’. After all, who could resist a grand gesture and the world’s capital of romance?
He also managed to hire a photographer to capture the moment and here, Jigyasa, relives the entire magical experience and the journey, literally and metaphorically, that took them to Paris.
How we met
“Though I was reluctant at first, a mutual friend introduced me to Durgesh who’d come all the way from New Jersey to Chennai. Once I got to know him though, we hit it off – he was humble, caring, loving and I could see he had a wonderful heart. Over time we just developed love and respect for each other. When he moved from the US to Denmark, he suggested I come over and we visit Paris. He’d always talked about showing me around the most romantic city in the world and I thought it was a wonderful idea. I was also really looking forward to seeing him after so long. So we planned the trip.”
The Proposal
“The morning after we arrived, he woke me up, saying we need to go see the Eiffel Tower. I had no idea what to expect but when we reached Champ de Mars, I was blown away by the view of the tower. I was still looking at it and then I realized Durgesh was down on one knee, with a beautiful ring. I was just so emotional – I don’t think I’d ever asked for anything more than to have this perfect man do down on his knee and ask to be mine forever. It was definitely a fairy tale moment and a dream come true.”
Pre-Wedding Shoot
“Durgesh is really organized and loves to have everything planned in advance. He booked Max Zhihong, a photographer from Paris, weeks before our trip. The photographer did an amazing job with the pictures and he also made us extremely comfortable and captured all the candid moments amazingly. We had the shoot at Champ de Mars and The Louvre, enjoying our moments which were all magical indeed.”
