Krupa and Tapan’s Platinum Day of Love
Love Actually, Pre Wedding Photoshoots - Sep 20, 2019
Our initiative ‘Love Actually’ features engaged couples and captures beautiful moments between them. The series celebrates people in love as they start their lives together. Over a fabulous makeover and a photo shoot, we get these couples to share how they met, document the rare connection they have and talk about their day of love.
Whether it’s violins, fireworks or just a little voice inside you repeating ‘the one, the one’ – love makes itself known in many ways. For Tapan, it was impossible to ignore the fact that Krupa had walked into his life for a reason.
A physiotherapist by profession, Tapan was looking to build a team for his clinic in 2016. Krupa, also a physiotherapist, had applied for the job. After what she calls ‘a gruelling session’ of Q&A, she was hired. The day she walked into her new office, she walked into a brand new destiny.
Sparks were destined to fly as they began to work together. A great professional relationship evolved into a rather intimate, personal one. Work led to coffee, coffee to dinner and suddenly, Tapan knew he was madly in love with Krupa and vice versa. Krupa remembers those early moments with great fondness, “Love began to bloom before we realised it. There’s no day or single moment when it ‘clicked’. We were working together, spending time chilling after and the next thing you knew…”
Fast forward to 2019. Deeper in love, the couple decided to take their relationship to the next level. They knew they were going to tie the knot but Tapan wanted to surprise Krupa with a cute proposal anyway and knowing his future wife’s love for the precious metal, he decided to seal the deal with a gorgeous platinum ring.
The next step was planning the perfect date. Tapan has a passion for gardening and one of Krupa’s hobbies is painting planters. So he suggested they take a walk through a nursery to pick a plant to nurture together to make their engagement more special. Krupa had no idea what was in store.
In the hustle of the wedding prep, Krupa and Tapan stole a little time away from the madness.
They walked hand in hand, basking in the quaint greenery of the nursery.
There’s something precious about picking a plant and making a commitment to nurture it, together!
The ardent moment was a perfect segue into what was going to happen next.
Surprise! Tapan went down on one knee asking Krupa the special question, finally!
He pulled out a Platinum Love Band and she, tearfully said yes!
Soaked in the lushness of love, Tapan and Krupa’s happiness sparkled like springtime.
Overwhelmed by his love for her, Tapan put a Platinum Love Band on Krupa’s finger and twirled her in excitement.
That day, they went back with the beginnings of a garden to tend – both literally and metaphorically.
He held her in an embrace while she couldn’t stop flaunting her Platinum Love Band!
They celebrated love as pure as Platinum.
Makeup artist Richa Thakkar created Krupa and Tapan’s gorgeous looks captured by Nimitham Wedding Photography. The main attraction in this beautiful proposal was courtesy Nikita Jewellers who helped Tapan choose the perfect Platinum ring for Krupa.
