The understated brown lipstick shades that were a rage in the 90’s, have made a comeback today with deeper, warmer and richer shades. Given the variety of formulas like mattes, velvets, satins, glosses and lip tints, it’s challenging to know which one will work the best on your big day. We did our research and picked out the Lakme Absolute Matte Ultimate Lip Color in Chocolate Brownie, which is a soft velvety matte textured lip color that’ll comfortably sit on your lips.
This striking trend was followed by Maitri Shah, our Sindhi bride, who glamorized her look by picking this soft chocolate shade that goes well with every skin tone. Enriched with luxe Argan oil, this lightweight, bullet lipstick is easy to glide on your lips without making them feel chalky. Makeup Artist Richa Thakkar added a swish of lush brown on Maitri’s cheeks, and for her eyes, she kept it subtle by applying a hint of Champagne and Light Brown eyeshadow. To add further drama to Maitri’s eyes, she drew a cat flick and finished with beautifully curled lashes thanks to the Lakme Eyeconic Curling Mascara.
