Metallic eye shadows are a great way to add interest to a basic smoky eye. The key to a metallic smokey eye is knowing where to apply the shimmer, and where to keep it matte.
Makeup Artist Amrita Sanghavi demonstrated how to get a sophisticated metallic smokey on Bride-to-be Monisha Mukhija at WeddingSutra on Location. Amrita started with a smudged base of Lakmé Absolute Drama Stylist Crayon in Olive on the eyelids and enhanced them with Lakmé Absolute Kohl Ultimate. Finally she applied a winged stroke of Lakmé Absolute Gel Addict Eyeliner in black for smouldering smokey eyes.
