Lakmé has picked Anamika Khanna to be the season’s Grand Finale designer at Lakme Fashion Week Summer/ Resort 2015. A talented designer and one of our favorites, Anamika will be working on the fashion interpretation of Lakmé’s statement. The extravaganza will witness a fresh palette of colours, stunning silhouettes and creative new beauty looks, all inspired by Lakmé’s trend forecast. A self-taught designer, Anamika is known to seamlessly weave together traditional Indian and modern methods to make a unique and diverse style statement through her outfits. With Anamika, the finale stage is sure to see a stunning fusion of traditional Indian aesthetics with modern, edgy cuts and silhouettes.
If her last bridal collection as the Grand Finale designer at Lakme Fashion Week in 2009 is anything to go by, we are ready for an ethereal range with sensual colours, modern silhouttes and flawless embroidery.
Lakmé Fashion Week (LFW) is jointly organized by Lakmé and IMG Reliance. LFW is organized twice every year. LFW Summer/Resort 2015 will be held from March 18 to March 22, 2015 at Palladium Hotel, Mumbai.
