Larger-than-life floral setups and clouds of gypsos made this couple’s indoor wedding mandap a magical one!
Wedding Planning - Jan 2, 2024
A wedding brimming with music, tasteful design elements, and plenty of playful moments, Prianka Jhaveri and Akhil Mittal tied the knot in style. Planned by WeddingSutra Favorite – FB Celebrations, the celebrations ensured the guests had the time of their lives. Hosted at The Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai during June, the nuptials looked picture-perfect and the couple’s loved ones enjoyed the impeccable hospitality to the hilt.
Farid Khan and Bhavnesh Sawhney from FB Celebrations share, “The celebrations kicked off with a grand sangeet and came to an end with a stylish wedding at The Taj Mahal Palace. Overall, the couple was keen on high-octane entertainment and lively decor. Knowing this, we went out of our way to deliver the wedding of their dreams!”
Wedding Functions
Sangeet
Commencing the wedding celebrations was an ultra-glam sangeet. Farid Khan and Bhavnesh Sawhney share, “The sangeet design used a generous amount of fresh flowers and greenery. We wanted the decor to look glam but at the same time, soft and romantic. The result was absolute elegance as the hues of white, green and gold fused beautifully. Meanwhile, pillar candles were strategically placed in the nooks to exude a soft glow while the ceiling was decorated with suspended white blooms. A live band with their high-energy tunes kept the guests lively and grooving.”
Mehndi
For the mehndi, the colour palette adhered to shades of blue and white. Resembling the hues of the famous vacation hotspot – Santorini in Greece, the mehndi decor almost transported the guests to a different place. Pink bouganvilleas decorated the rafters while the colorful floral arch framed the bride’s seating area.
Wedding
Farid Khan and Bhavnesh Sawhney share, “At the Taj Mahal Palace, the wedding ceremony was stylish, elegant, and meticulously planned to create the ideal atmosphere. The venue was decorated with peonies and roses in delicate pastel shades that looked extremely elegant.
The after-party was filled with energy as a live band had everyone grooving till the wee hours of the night!”
