Luxuriously designed with red, gold and off-white hues, this couple’s engagement party raised the stakes with its elegance

A high-energy celebration till the very end, Lehar Gupta and Vishesh Naredi’s Bahrain-based engagement party had their guests grooving till the wee hours of the morning. Designed by WeddingSutra Favorite – Evolve Weddings, this engagement celebration consisted of a series of glitzy events that had everyone in the mood to party!
Describing the brief that they received from the couple, Varun Dua from Evolve Weddings shares, “It was a series of pre-wedding events and the couple wanted everything to be very glamorous. For them, giving the guests a good time was a priority and they wanted every celebration to have a club/party-like atmosphere where their loved ones could just let their hair down. Overall, the couple had complete clarity and they conveyed everything to us precisely which led us to orchestrate these really lively celebrations!”
Kicking off the three-day festivities was a sundowner at the hotel’s own private island. Keen on channeling a breezy, beachside event – the decor consisted of a pristine white colour palette that contracted beautifully with the dramatic sunset sky. Adding a golden glow to the venue were fairy lights and vintage bulbs.
The second day commenced with a carnival. Varun shares, “Lehar was quite enthusiastic about an ‘Alice in Wonderland’ themed party. Keeping this in mind, we fused a carnival theme with the wonderland theme and the result was absolutely amazing! The guests had a wonderful time.”
The very same day, the evening witnessed a spirited club-like party that took a cue from a dance club. Covered in black masking with silver panels with in-lit figures, the guests were in awe as they entered the venue. The couple also made a stylish entry with innovative sound and light effects.”
Ending the celebration in style was a dreamy yet glamorous engagement. Varun shares, “Since this was the moment that everyone had come to celebrate, everything just had to be perfect. We wanted to combine the best of romance and glitz. Thankfully, we were successful as we constructed an aisle on which the couple walked and a raised platform on which they exchanged rings. The color palette of the design consisted of red, gold and cream hues which gave the entire ballroom a luxurious look. Scarlet roses filled the air with their heady scent while crystal chandeliers cast a gold glow over the couple as they exchanged rings.”
