Planned by Tamarind Global, the union inspired awe from the very beginning. Describing their vision while planning the larger-than-life wedding in the cool month of February Aashay Samel, Director of Weddings & Events at Tamarind Global shares, “The wedding functions were meticulously planned, with a strong focus on creating an unforgettable experience for both the family and guests. Although the family hailed from Hyderabad, they decided to embrace a few North Indian rituals that added to the excitement.
The wedding was held in a tradition that beautifully blended the venue’s Italian heritage with the local Arabian culture. The venue, offering unparalleled facilities, provided a breathtaking backdrop of Dubai Creek with unobstructed views. With their expert in hospitality, Palazzo Versace Dubai effortlessly accommodated exclusive requests in both indoor and outdoor spaces, ensuring an elegant and memorable experience for all the guests.”
When it comes to a destination wedding, the hospitality offered by the venue and seamless planning are responsible for creating a solid first impression in the minds of the wedding guests. In this aspect, nothing was left to chance as the Telugu wedding’s cultural nuances were understood accurately and the hospitality team adapted their services to suit the tastes of the couple. The most prominent example of this versatility was witnessed in the culinary section as dedicated Indian chefs who skillfully catered to the distinctive Hyderabadi palate were called in.
Kicking off the wedding festivities was the haldi which saw a beautiful yellow and white theme that was accentuated with gold elements. Everyone had a fun time as they exchanged playful banter and lively moments. Rustic tepee-like arches with marigolds, wood furnishings and parasols adorned the venue creating a cheerful atmosphere for the guests who enjoyed their time under the sun.
Hosted outdoors, the welcome dinner was a jaw-dropping occasion where the guests savored the heady taste of grandeur. Themed in a Moroccan style, the venue exuded an exotic ambience that led everyone to enjoy themselves to the fullest. Plus, a live Qanun artist added to the Arabic vibe.
Aashay from Tamarind Global shares, “After the welcome dinner, the mehndi was a vibrant celebration where henna-patterned palms and the buzz of excitement had everyone smiling. Baby blue and pink floral arches added a whimsical touch to the event and welcomed the guests. Adding to the vibrancy were large pink banana leaf installations that stood out against the surroundings.”
Amping up the glamor levels at night was the glitzy sangeet hosted at Palazzo Versace Dubai’s vast ballroom. With ample space coupled with plush interiors, this event had everyone vying for a few minutes under the spotlight as they danced and expressed their joy. Inside, the space glimmered with crystals that reflected the blue spotlights. Gilded furnishings and white blooms added to the glamour as guests enjoyed high-energy performances.
Saving the best for the last, the wedding was a dream come true. And, the highlight of the big day was the floating mandap placed on the venue’s vast pool. Giving the couple a serene backdrop of Dubai Creek as they tied the knot, the mandap was the perfect combination of grandeur and elegance. Adding to the magic were fireworks that lit the sky up as the couple exchanged garlands and took their pheras.
