Need sustainable decor ideas? This charming Gurgaon wedding decor was designed with rustic elements that were later gifted to guests and family!
Wedding Planning - Feb 22, 2022
Whimsical wonderland anyone? Designers by profession, Kashish Chopra and Kunwar Chetan dreamt up a cozy, sustainable celebration for their Gurgaon wedding with just 35 guests, which was executed with great attention to detail by WeddingSutra Favorite – Mogra by Namita. Set up in a lush natural setting, the rustic, minimal decor seamlessly merged with the surroundings as it delicately elevated the earthy elements.
Namita shares, “A very intimate celebration planned in just two weeks with an equally intimate guest list, this wedding was one of the prettiest events we have ever curated. Kashish and Kunwar were deeply involved in the entire process, lending their thoughts and ideas to the smallest of details to make the entire experience very personal.”
The mandap for the Anand Karaj crafted out of thick green foliage and flowing white drapes set a serene tone for the occasion, beautifully blending into the verdant backdrop. Floor seating with plush cushions added a cozy touch to the day. Cane baskets of flowers and pampas grass added a charming bohemian touch, which were then all gifted to the guests. Additional earthen pots full of flowers around the venue were later reused by the bride’s mother at her home. Delicate details requested by the groom such as flowers in the cane chandeliers added a special touch to complete the decor.
