Nimmi and Tej’s Engagement and Pre-Wedding Shoot Evokes Romance in all its Hues
Pre Wedding Photoshoots - Feb 21, 2019
Serene and picturesque, the W Goa lured Nimmi and Tej who headed there for their beautiful engagement followed by a stunning pre-wedding photoshoot.
WeddingSutra Favorite – Reels and Frames focused their expertise and lenses on Nimmi and Tej to make their dream of a perfect photoshoot come true. The beautiful pictures at the luxurious property and its surrounding environs are a testament to their wonderful collaboration.
How we met
“We met first at his housewarming ceremony but we barely spoke. Later, our first official date was at The Leela. We hit it off really well; we even went to my favorite place for some hot chocolate and dessert after that. A date that was supposed to last an hour went on for about 4 hours. After we hung out at my younger sister’s birthday party, we decided to take the plunge.”
Pre-Wedding Shoot
“Our pre-wedding shoot was really fun, thanks to our enthusiastic photographers. Reels and Frames is one of the most amazing teams we have ever come across. They made us feel so comfortable.
They picked two places to shoot. One was very wooded with no humans and lots of dogs! The second was on a rowboat- maybe the best idea ever. All we were worried about was falling out of the boat!
We wanted our shoot to be fun and intimate at the same time and I believe we achieved exactly that. Standing on the rowboat and posing was probably the most difficult part of the shoot but I was fine because I knew we were going to get great photos and Tej knows how to swim! It was our first shoot and both of us are camera shy. However, when we did the shoot all we wanted was to go out and have fun and click great photos. We tickled each other and made fun of each other during the shoot and in the process we captured some great moments that are going to last a lifetime.”
Engagement
“Our engagement decor was completely designed by my sister and I. We chose baby pink and white as the color scheme. The décor was minimal because we wanted the destination to be the major highlight. Our backdrop was the beach and we didn’t want the guests to miss out on that.
I wore a Sabyasachi lehenga and jewellery for the first half and then changed into a Sabyasachi sari later. Tej chose a Canali bandhgala for the first half and changed into a Kunal Rawal sherwani for the second half of the ceremony.”
