Priyanka and Arihant’s Miniature Theme Pre-Wedding Photoshoot

This lovely couple’s love for fantasy and adventure inspired their miniature-themed photo-shoot with Coolbluez Photography.
How we met
Priyanka and Arihant met in an MBA class they took together. Gradually, their casual chats and academic conversations evolved into something special. They realized quite early on that this was love, but there were familial pressures that they had to overcome. “Arihant belongs to a Jain family from Jaipur and I’m a Punjabi from Delhi. There were a lot of ups and down and disagreements but it ended on a happy note, just like a Bollywood movie,” Priyanka says with a smile.
And just to make sure, Arihant proposed to Priyanka twice! “He asked me to marry him on my birthday and I thought that was very special. But I certainly didn’t know that while I was away, he’d made special arrangements at home and invited all my close friends and family. When I entered y house, there was a dhol and a band waiting and then he proposed to me in typical ‘Bollywood style’ in front of my parents,” Priyanka says delightedly. Of course, she said ‘Yes!’
The Pre Wedding Shoot
“We wanted to do something different, not typically romantic,” Priyanka says, of their pre-wedding shoot. At one of their brainstorming sessions they came up with the idea for a miniature-themed shoot, “We thought, it would look great in pictures. We conceptualized our ideas with our photographer and were really happy with the results.”
The couple were in capable hands. CoolBluez Photography is renowned for their dreamy, unique photographs and came highly recommended by the couple’s friends. But they had no idea just how much fun they were going to have. “It was hilarious to pose with imaginary things for the shot to be executed. We had no idea how it would end up, but we just posed and had so much fun! The CoolBluez team handled it all very well. We were just mesmerized by their approach and it all felt like a fairytale,” Priyanka remembers.
The key was in the photographer-couple connection, Priyanka says, “Surpreet was great to work with. She truly understood what we wanted and honestly, the pictures were so stunning, even we were surprised at the final result!”
Priyanka and Arihant will tie the knot in October this year and are looking forward to putting their ups and downs behind them and finally being together forever. For this fun-loving couple, the idea of being stressed through formal wedding functions was also a no-no so, “We’re having a destination wedding in Goa,” Priyanka tells us, “We wanted our friends and family to just have fun and enjoy the wedding and Goa seemed like the perfect place to do it.”
