Raghavendra Rathore, who kept off the fashion weeks since the past four years, made a comeback with his exclusive bridal collection for both men and women at the Aamby Valley India Bridal Week (AVIBFW) 2013 in association with Azva.

Drawing inspiration from traditional silhouettes from across Asia, his collection put focus on redefining structure and fit to achieve a sophisticated look. Poncho-like tops in digital print, frilled gowns, velvet shrugs, and long robe like embroidered jackets were some of the eye-catching details that were seen in his women’s collection. He also presented a bolero bandgala and a sari bandhgala, which was inspired from his trademark jodhpuri bundgala jackets that was part of his men’s collection.

A wide variety of men’s wear showcased by Raghavendra Rathore included velvet coats with pocket squares in the hues of red and green, and men suits in a range of vibrant colours like pink, purple, red and turquoise blue.
