Renika and Praful’s Platinum Day of Love
Love Actually, Pre Wedding Photoshoots - Sep 4, 2018
Our initiative ‘Love Actually’ features engaged couples and captures beautiful moments between them. The series celebrates the people in love as they start their lives together. Over a fabulous makeover and a photo shoot, we get these couples to share how they met, capture the rare connection they share and talk about their day of love.
The story of their lives played out between the pages of books they loved. Renika believes that it is both relaxing and invigorating to occasionally set aside the worries of life, seek the company of a friendly book; and what better way to experience that than with your very own better half! While Renika enjoys reading mood-boosting classic literature, Praful prefers epic fantasy novels. She shares, “I was already in love with Praful when we first started reading novels together, but I admit to falling just a tiny bit more in love with him after discussing the books we read. ”
We decided to focus on Renika and Praful’s love story with an off-beat, literary-themed photoshoot.
We met the lovely couple at The Wedding Designers Studio where they came together to share their story that is enough to make you believe that love happens in the most surprising of ways.
A close cousin of Renika who also happened to know Praful played Cupid in this love story. While the two bonded over multiple coffee dates and meetups, they soon turned the pages of friendship and found the chapters were turning into a romance. The couple shares, “Reading books turned out to be one of the most powerful ways that helped us to get to know each other better, respectfully argue, and find unexpected places of agreement while discussing our choice of literature.”
“We fell in love in the simplest way and all at once. We’re really compatible in the things we both like or don’t like and agree or disagree with. As with any relationship, we do argue a little but thankfully we get along great and have a lot of common interests. We connected over our deeper level of maturity and wisdom, and we balance each other beautifully. We share a powerful bond of trust and mutual respect for each other”. A relationship so strong and rare is perfectly represented by the timeless, pure, Platinum love bands – crafted using one of the rarest metals. For a love so special, a metal just as rare. Renika says, “Platinum truly marks the rarity of our unique relationship!”
While makeup artist Vrinda Makhija ensured that Renika’s look was on point all day, talented photographer Mrinal Khatnani made sure every frame was composed to perfection. To take the shoot to the next level Rasiklal Sankalchand Jewellers extended exquisite platinum pieces from their collection.
