Sepia tones add a romantic nuance to this elegantly styled conceptual boho themed wedding
Wedding Photography & Films, Wedding Planning - Sep 4, 2020
Wedding decor is a canvas for couples to showcase and celebrate their unique personalities and tastes. With a vision of showcasing new trends for weddings in the upcoming wedding season, Amrit Photography put together a decor inspiration shoot. This concept shoot was captured in Vancouver to inspire Indian couples with ideas that are fresh, evocative and relevant in the current world.
The team of Amrit Photography shares, “We chose to blend the bohemian style, which is light, flowy, and free-spirited with the traditional Indian elements to create a look that is earthy, chic and timeless. With so many Indian weddings that take place in Vancouver and the rest of the world each year, couples need fresh inspiration to make their wedding memorable.”
“With no definitive way to create a bohemian-inspired wedding, this theme is all about artistic self-expression. From pampas grass, wooden tables, crystal glassware, peacock chairs and rugs to a long boho dress with dramatic bell sleeves, this shoot showcases alluring boho elements. Dried palms, pampas plumes and unusual grasses were used to create lush bohemian backdrops. Wild bouquets added a further elegant and romantic touch.”
This styled shoot is a great example of what an intimate Indian wedding could look like in the future and is a conscious effort of Amrit Photography to urge the Indian community to rethink big fat weddings and the health risks of hosting mass gatherings.
While weddings planned for the near future are most significantly impacted, those held later on could also experience certain limitations on the guest count as an ongoing effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
“More than ever before, it is important to remember that your wedding is a celebration of your love above anything else and extravagant festivities can be given a miss for the sake of collective health and wellbeing in the wake of current events. If there was ever a time to plan an unforgettable intimate wedding with just your loved ones, it is now,” shares the team.
