Shot against the stunning Dubai cityscape, this couple’s prewedding photoshoot will stir up your wanderlust

Mothers give us so much in life, sometimes even our soulmates! Shivangi and Siddharth ‘found’ each other through their mothers who are best friends. Over time, their enduring friendship transformed into love and they decided to take it to the next level when Siddharth went down on one knee and proposed. The couple celebrated the start of their new adventure with a beautiful pre-wedding photoshoot by WeddingSutra Favorite – Amit Sood Photography.
Shivangi shares more about the whole experience that unfolded in Dubai. “Siddharth and I knew from the start that we wanted to shoot in Dubai, and we waited for the travel restrictions to be lifted. Once Dubai opened to visitors, we seized our opportunity. We were the first to have a pre-wedding shoot outside of India post the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown. Amit Sood handled every aspect of the shoot, from selecting the locations to deciding on the perfect outfits, songs, and more. He was fully and personally involved in every step of the way, which made the experience absolutely unforgettable for us.”
Dubai’s luxurious facets shone through the shots taken by the Amit Sood Photography team. The couple’s charming bond was captured against every facet of the city, from the sprawling desert to the beguiling cityscape. Backdrops of the iconic Burj-Al-Arab, Burj Khalifa, Atlantis The Palm, luxury cars, and more, stunningly framed their tender moments. The subtle colors and flowing silhouettes of the couple’s attires created a compelling contrast with the architectural beauty of the city’s iconic landmarks.
Shivangi adds, “The photoshoot was an experience of a lifetime for us, and nothing about it made us feel posed. Siddharth and I felt more connected to one another than ever before, and the experience brought us so much closer to each other. The best part of the shoot was getting ready with beautiful couture and professional makeup. In the two days that we spent there, we felt like we were in a Bollywood movie, shooting in beautiful ensembles against picturesque landscapes. Despite the challenges of multiple outfit changes and the fatigue of traveling to new locations, it was a thrilling experience that we would re-live every time we see the photos.”
Shivangi and Siddharth, whose families are followers of ‘The Art of Living,’ are preparing to tie the knot in December this year in the presence of Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar at his International Aashram in Bangalore.
