Shradha and Raj’s Platinum love story

They say every once in a while, life gives you a fairytale. Shradha and Raj Munot however choose to find their fairytale in the day-to-day! An introvert at heart, Online Marketing Professional and Real estate Developer Raj found his life partner in the ever-exuberant Shradha, a Financial Advisor and Educator hailing from Belgaum.
Having met through a business conference, Raj was initially doubtful about whether they would hit it off because of how different they seemed to be, as was Shradha. She however was soon drawn to his motivating, positive approach to challenging situations, something she appreciated and welcomed in her life. Raj on the other hand was won over by her authenticity. Being a public persona in his professions of real estate and marketing, often speaking to large gatherings, he had grown to expect embellished compliments from most of the people he met. Shradha’s honesty and to-the-point perspective was the refreshing change of pace that he craved. Today looking back, he acknowledges that their differences are what brought them together, enriching each other’s lives and binding them seamlessly to be greater together!
He shares, “It might seem like a cliché to admit, but Shradha has made my life immeasurably better since the moment she came into my life. I had always focused on my career with single-minded dedication and didn’t have much appetite for exploring new things. Shradha has a compelling spirit for adventure, that sparked in me a desire to lead a more wholesome, fulfilling life with a better work-life balance. From new cuisines to adventure, sports, and other adrenaline-pumping experiences, she encouraged me to try many things that have now become an indispensable part of my life. I even went from not having much interest in pop culture to cherishing every intense discussion over our favorite movies and shows. Thanks to her, my inclination to embrace the unknown has increased, which has helped me grow not just personally but also professionally. Every time things get too comfortable, I hear her voice in my head that urges me to not settle, and think – How can I take this to the next level? Most importantly, she has also helped me overcome my qualms about social interactions with her love and patience, and eased me out of my shell. She has also nurtured a beautiful connection with my family, and even helped me strengthen my bonds with them, making me a more well-rounded person”.
Shradha on the other hand is on her way to realizing all her professional dreams with Raj’s relentless support and guidance. Alongside being a Financial advisor and working for a startup accelerator, she made her wish of being a financial educator a reality with his help, launching her course on Udemy during the lockdown. From setting up her home studio to designing the course contents, honing her presentation skills, and even fine-tuning her approach and process, Raj was with her every step of the way, lending his professional expertise wherever he could. She shares, “There is beauty in spontaneity, but not without balance. I have always been a “spur of the moment” person, while he has been a planner. This, and in a million different ways, we come from very different schools of thought. But what may seem like differences to others, to us create the perfect balance! Raj sees me and accepts me for who I am, and never shrugs off my perspective on things. By always making the effort to understand each other’s way of thinking, we constantly get to experience things in ways we had never thought possible! There is always more than one way to do something, and by making room for each other’s opinions, we often discover that the other approach is better.”
“It is important to support your partner, but it is just as important to respect their personal space. Raj is always there to lend a helping hand or an empathetic ear whenever I need it, but he also gives me room to figure things out my way. I can set out to do all I want, because in my heart I know I always have him to come back to, and so does he” she smiles.
Raj and Shradha view their differences as not something that separates them, but rather allows them to learn more about each other and view the world from their eyes.
