A Spectacular Pre-Wedding Photoshoot in Snow Capped Ladakh!

Crowned by imposing mountains, wide, arid expanses and roads, dusted in snow that drive past icy blue lakes – Ladakh takes your breath away and not just because of the high-altitude. Harsh and Bhagyashree wanted a pre-wedding photoshoot at the top of the world and WeddingSutra Favorite Oragraphy’s talented team made it happen.
Setting the bar for pre-wedding photoshoots really high, the couple set out to explore the untouched mountains, picture-perfect snowy backdrops, and the exotic monasteries of Ladakh. Here, we share highlights from their epic shoot as team Oragraphy tells us all about it.
The Pre-Wedding Shoot
The frames have a cinematic quality that is enhanced by the unique color story working in alignment with the hues of the surroundings. A palette of deep green, pale yellow, white and black complement the clear skies, azure waters, and barren mountains. As the duo spent time with each other, their romance began to fill the frames making the visuals more evocative.
Team Oragraphy says, “Ladakh is a land of magnificent landscapes, a surreal place in three dimensions. For us, the opportunity to shoot here was special, especially after losing one shoot last year due to bad weather. The rough spell of winds almost had us packing our bags to go back home, but the show had to go on!
Harsh and Bhagyashree are probably one of our most stylish couples. They’re really fond of traveling and for us to present this was pivotal. The journey started with Magnetic Hill and we went on to Hunder Desert, Zanskar valley and then to Nubra Valley, Leh Market, Shanti Stupa and ended at Pangong. Creating a setup is probably one of our most favorite parts of the shoot, as it adds color, emotions, and life to moments. We created a perfect date night under the starry skies at the resort. The experience at Zanskar and Pangong truly defined serendipity. While Zanskar gifted us a double rainbow, the ombre of Pangong left us awestruck.”
The beautiful play of light at these destinations helped the couple’s emotions shine through in captivating frames and the breathtaking landscapes added rugged charm to the romantic visuals.
