Surrounded by lush palms, this emerald and gold themed open-air wedding planned by Baraati Inc was a fairytale come true

Doctors by profession, Sharika and Priyash were working on a tight schedule when it came to their wedding. However, WeddingSutra Favorite – Baraati Inc ensured that their dream wedding came true with their meticulous planning and expertise. For their glitzy Sangeet, the vivacious duo chose Amaara Farms that offered an ideal combination of vast outdoor and indoor spaces where they could easily shake a leg and revel in the magic of the evening.
Shweta Acharya, the founder of Baraati Inc, shares her take on what went on behind the scenes to breathe life into the couple’s vision, “From designing the e-invites and conceptualizing sustainable and eco-friendly wedding favors, to closing the venue of each event, we were with the couple every step of the way to make sure that they got the best of everything. Playful menus were also created for the smaller pre-wedding festivities like the Sangeet and Mehendi, while the elaborate spread for the big day was hand-picked keeping the grandeur of the occasion in mind. Furthermore, we even helped conceptualize a few decor elements with the production team of Tramode Events who executed the decor of the wedding precisely.
Every aspect of the nuptials was looked at with complete precision and no stone was left unturned to give this duo their dream wedding. I’m proud to say, that we tried, and we succeeded in giving each function a unique twist making it truly memorable.”
When it came to choosing the venue of the wedding team Baraati Inc also went the extra mile to give Sharika a big day she could remember for a lifetime. Sharing the process behind choosing the venue, Shweta shares, “Sharika had always set her eyes on a destination wedding but due to a few personal constraints, the wedding had to be hosted in Delhi NCR. However, we were absolutely adamant that her vision shouldn’t be lost completely, so we transformed the wedding into a staycation at the Le Méridien, Gurgaon, where she would be surrounded by all her loved ones as she tied the knot. However, the Sangeet night was hosted at Amaara Farms where everyone could shake a leg freely, all thanks to vast and lush spaces available in the property.”
Gurbani
Giving the wedding a blissful and auspicious start was a serene gurbani ceremony in the Gurudwara. Adorned with flowers and swathed in pastel shades it was a simple ceremony that kick-started the celebrations.
Sangeet
Hosted at Amaara Farms, the Sangeet night was glitzy and high on drama. Shweta shares, “For the Sangeet, the duo was keen on bold colors, and hence chose cirque concept tenting and lighting. A gorgeous walkway was organized for the couple with fireworks and handcrafted light buntings along with a kitschy Ambassador seating photo op for everyone to shoot quirky pictures. Also, instead of the regular stage, we gave them a two-layered circular dance floor where there were plenty of epic performances and emotional speeches exuberantly orchestrated by their family and friends. The decor was replete with pampas grass, infinite candles, and bold maroon drapes that contrasted beautifully against the lush green setting of the venue.”
Mehendi
Sharing the creative process behind the Mehendi, Shweta shares, “The Mehendi exuded energetic vibes with aqua blue drapes and linen, while multicolored blooms added a vibrant pop of color to the Moroccan setting. Following the Mehendi was a sundowner party which was hosted on the picturesque terrace of the Le Meridien where everyone enjoyed endless cocktails and coffee while tapping their toes to live acoustic music.”
Haldi
For the Haldi, all stops were pulled to ensure Sharika got a Haldi function that reflected her fun-loving personality. Shweta shares, “This event was extremely special as our joyful bride got a ‘swinging Haldi’ where she sat perched upon a flower-decorated swing while surrounded by her girl squad. It was a magnificent occasion with plenty of picture-perfect moments.”
Wedding and Reception
Owing to the bride’s request to wanting a unique theme that would stand out and impress the crowd, Shweta and her team at Baraati Inc came up with an emerald green and gold decor concept that left everyone in awe. Shweta shares, “The emerald and gold decor theme was accentuated by royal chandeliers and plush candle props that lit up the entire venue beautifully. For the mandap, we decided to go bold with a gold metallic tropical trellis with floating candle pillars that gave the entire ceremony a dreamy vibe. Our aim was to merge old-world elements with contemporary ones seamlessly, and thankfully everything fell right into place as envisioned. Lastly, to end everything on a high note, the reception stage consisted of a three-layered backdrop that depicted a handcrafted tree of life that was created by skilled artisans who used pale pink blooms.”
