Hosted by Dubai’s Department of Economy & Tourism, the Dubai Wedding Symposium 2024 gathered 100 global wedding planners, influencers, and media to explore Dubai’s rise as a premier wedding destination.
From a captivating sunset cocktail event at the Nara Desert Escape camp to insightful conference sessions at Taj Exotica Resort and Spa, the symposium explored key topics like sustainability, creativity, and the future of weddings. Attendees engaged in one-to-one meetings with local suppliers and vendors, discovering top-notch services and luxury hotel partners.
The keynote & panel speakers were Wendy El-Khoury, CEO of Wedded Wonderland; Hella Huizinga, founder of Hella Huizinga Events; Zuzu Birkhof, founder and creative director of Haus of Birkhof, Tomas De Bruyne, floral Designer Tomas De Bruyne Floral Experiences Worldwide, Stefanie Heller, CEO Jam Wedding planner, Parthip Thyagarajan, CEO WeddingSutra, Alejandra Poupel, founder Alejandra Poupel Events, Alison Hargreaves, founder Guides for Brides, Beyond Weddings and Pride Guide, Michele Li, Founder and director of The Wedding Company, Christina Holt, Founder and director of Wedding Concepts.
The engaging discussions, and conversations over visits to diverse venues allowed all attendees to witness the beauty of each venue and also offered valuable insights into the potential they hold for creating memorable celebration experiences.
