The old stone ruins of Hampi formed the perfect backdrop for Rohini and Dheeraj’s newfound love!

Rohini and Dheeraj, who met through an arranged marriage setup, recently got hitched at Dheeraj’s hotel, The Groves in Bangalore. Their pre-wedding shoot took place amidst the old stone ruins of the UNESCO World Heritage site of Hampi and at the stunning Evolve Back, Hampi resort that was built to mirror the majesty of the Vijayanagara kingdom. They chose WeddingSutra Favorite – North Water Star for the shoot whose team conceptualized the perfect frames to match the architectural splendor of the locations.
Rohini shared, “We knew we wanted to stay close to our roots which is why we chose Hampi for our pre-wedding shoot. We shot at multiple locations, including the Evolve Back Hampi resort which served as the perfect backdrop for the shoot.”
“Since we were shooting amidst the old ruins of the bygone era, we thought of keeping all our outfits subtle and regal. We decided upon six changes of clothes from lehengas, a saree and sharara to a jumpsuit and a gown. We fell in love with all the locations which came out beautifully in all our pictures. The North Water Star team was terrific. They put a lot of time and effort to make sure the photos turned out amazing.”
“The weather in Hampi is unpredictable. It was overcast and started drizzling on the day of our shooting. But surprisingly, all these natural elements helped in enhancing the vintage charm in our pictures. I loved every bit of the shoot, especially spending the whole day with Dheeraj doing things that we had never tried together before!”
