The stars descended from the sky at this couple’s cocktail celebration inspired by Van Gogh’s ‘Starry Night’ masterpiece!

Drawing from the bride’s love for starry nights, WeddingSutra Favorite – Exotic Goa Events orchestrated and designed this stunning cocktail celebration. Best described as a ‘jaw-dropper of an event’ that took the guest’s breath away, this one, with its extensive and innovative use of LED lights was one for the books!
Seby Noronha from Exotic Goa Events gives us an overview of the brief the team received from the couple, “Upon our initial discussion with Ayushi and Manik regarding their post-wedding festivities to be hosted in Goa during December – their vision was crystal clear. Ayushi expressed her fondness for a starry night ambience for the cocktail event. We are proud to say that we made her dream come true and she gave us complete creative control.”
As the team brainstormed ideas and scouted for inspiration, they decided to revisit the beloved classic – Vincent van Gogh’s ‘Starry Night’. Seby shares, “Once we embarked on the journey of creating a celestial experience for Ayushi and Manik, we were looking at various sources for inspiration. Vincent van Gogh’s beloved masterpiece got our creative juices running as we conceptualized and designed a breathtaking ceiling installation that recreated the ethereal beauty of a star-studded sky. Thousands of tiny LED lights were suspended from the ceiling, mimicking the brilliance of stars scattered across a dark canvas. To enhance the illusion of depth and movement, wisps of sheer fabrics were curated to form a wave replicating the swirling patterns in van Gogh’s artwork.”
Adding to the beauty of the setup were entryway arches fitted with vintage bulbs foliage and green drapes. “As guests mingled and enjoyed cocktails beneath this celestial canopy, they were enveloped in an atmosphere of enchantment and wonder. Tables adorned with shimmering linens and delicate floral centerpieces completed the scene. The result was an immersive experience where we also honored one of the most iconic artworks in the world”, says Seby.
