The Podcast was birthed from Aarti Manocha’s vision to serve as a premiere one-stop destination for information for families and to-be weds embarking on their wedding journey. Hence, one of the things the Podcast focuses on is the importance of wedding trends and insights. Doing that not only enables couples to discover new ideas, but also offers expert advice to help them make better decisions, and learn about the best industry vendors, decor ideas, and latest fashion. For example, the desire for more experiential celebrations over traditional ones among young couples has led to a rise in destination weddings and unique entertainment ideas. Moreover, our collective experience in recent times also helped us explore the bounds of virtual celebrations, to help us connect with our loved ones no matter where they may be in the world.

One of the most important aspects of the Podcast is to offer a clear understanding of the role of wedding planners in today’s day and age. While many still underplay the need and perceived expertise of planning professionals, especially for intimate weddings, there are endless benefits to enlisting their services, regardless of the size and scale of the wedding. From budget planning to venue coordination, deciding themes and decor, dealing with multiple vendors, and so much more, wedding planners shoulder the entire responsibility to ensure the couple and their families get to simply focus on enjoying the moment. This was seemingly impossible in the past, as family members were thoroughly involved in handling logistical challenges and side-stepping issues while also entertaining their guests. Wedding planners not only step into their role armed with a number of backup plans in case of any emergencies, but they also handle hospitality for your guests and oversee all activities to ensure your rituals are carried out with the utmost respect. According to Aarti, a Wedding planner is as good as a Movie Director without the luxury of retakes!

In the coming days, The Wedding Podcast is gearing up to host more experts from various fields, as well as explore exciting collaborations with popular wedding creators and curators to offer more enjoyable and educational content. Don’t forget to tune in!
