Exploring the array of landscapes that Thailand has to offer Riya and Kanish Mehta’s pre-wedding photoshoot was a unique one! Making the most of the versatile landscapes that this tropical gem of a country had to offer, the couple’s pictures accurately captured their love in picture-perfect shots that the couple will cherish forever.
Explaining why they chose Thailand, the couple shares, “We chose Thailand for our pre-wedding shoot due to its versatility. It offers picturesque landscapes, pristine beaches, charming cafés, and awe-inspiring historic architecture. In short, it has it all! Additionally, it provided all of this very cost-effectively compared to other countries.”
Rather than taking the usual route of exploring the bustling cities of Thailand, the couple went onto the beauties of the coast and the laid-back culture that surrounds it. Riya shares, “Our pre-wedding shoot in Thailand encompassed two distinct regions. In the north, we explored the charming cities of Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai, where we discovered beautiful cafés, national parks, vibrant flea markets, and scenic locations. Moving to the south, we ventured to Phuket, known for its stunning beaches, boat trips, more scenic spots, and delightful cafés, providing a diverse and picturesque backdrop for our pre-wedding photography.”
As a couple who went all when it came to exploring the beauty of Thailand, the couple had a few essential tips to share with couples who have a pre-wedding shoot slated in the ‘Land of Smiles’. They go on to share, “Firstly, be sure to allocate an extra day and allow ample buffer time for each location in your itinerary. This will help you manage any unexpected delays or changes. Additionally, it’s advisable to inquire in advance about the closing times of your chosen locations and whether photography is permitted, ensuring a smooth and stress-free shooting experience.
During our pre-wedding shoot in Thailand, we opted for comfortable and secure accommodations with helpful staff. Specifically, we stayed at M Boutique Hotel in Chiang Rai, Ibis Styles Hotel in Chiang Mai, and Ashlee Plaza Hotel in Phuket. And, while these hotels may not have been extravagant, they provided a reliable and pleasant stay for our memorable journey.”
Cherishing every moment before they tied the knot, Riya and Kanish took this pre-wedding photoshoot as an opportunity to spend quality time together before the rigours of planning their wedding. The couple says, “One of the most cherished aspects of our pre-wedding shoot in Thailand was the quality time we shared as a couple. Despite the sleepless nights and consecutive shoots in our schedule, it was an incredible experience, and it brought us closer, making it one of the most memorable times we’ve had together.”
