Set amidst the timeless beauty and royal heritage of Udaipur, Arjan Singh and Raina Shivdasani’s dreamy wedding was curated by WeddingSutra Favorite – FB Celebrations to be one their guests would never forget! Rooted in tradition yet modern in spirit and high on grandeur, the destination wedding was a quintessential Indian celebration.
Wedding Planning
The highly personalized event was meticulously orchestrated by the team of FB Celebrations to bring every last detail of the couple’s vision to fruition. Sharing their insight about what went into making it a reality, they share, “We curated every detail to marry our client’s taste and sensibilities to our strength. From the refreshing upholstery and specially curated music for the boats that ferried the guests to the hotel, the exquisite floral arrangements made from imported flowers and even choosing a specific fragrance for every function to complement the mood, a lot of attention went into crafting an impeccable celebration. The couple wanted the experience to be special for every friend, family, and guest, and we did our best to make that happen, including curating every single meal to suit their taste preferences, specially formulated cocktails, personalized treats, and much more.
While designing the decor, we made the most of the venue’s beautiful architecture and spaces, including utilizing the beauty of the lobby for one of the functions. The high was a 16ft long grazing table, the largest we have ever created, which was a celebration of food and beautiful floral art. The wedding saw a rousing mix of entertainment with professional artists to keep every function interactive and full of enjoyment.”

Wedding Functions
Mehndi
The festivities kicked off with a contemporary Mehendi soiree brimming with bohemian charm. A canopy of macrame and fairy lights, wooden furniture, crocheted table runners, pampas grass, and more cast a rustic barnyard ambiance for the occasion, while pops of bright colors with flowers, foliage, and other artistic elements elevated the energy. Lisa Mishra’s melodious performance set a magical mood for the evening.
Sangeet
Designed in a pristine color palette of white and gold inside an outdoor marquee, the Sangeet function was a portal to another world. Clouds of baby’s breath interspersed with chandeliers hung overhead while sleek gold decor came together with white roses, candlelight, and lush foliage to create an ethereal atmosphere. The groovy jamming of Astha Gill and Sukhbir pepped up the crowd for an unforgettable evening full of music and dance performances.
Wedding
The Anand Karaj ceremony saw a transformation of the hotel lobby and grand staircase into a pastel pink wonderland, imagined with breathtaking floral arrangements and a plush canopied altar. Jonita Gandhi’s sublime voice graced the wedding lunch, while a profusion of red and pink roses elevated the formal table seatings. The wedding toast was the highlight of the occasion where the bride and groom popped the champagne from the balcony overlooking all the gathered guests cheering them on from below.
Sufi Night
The celebrations culminated with a magical Sufi night. Plush velvet diwans, Arabian lamps, and elegant roses recreated the charm of an eclectic Middle-Eastern oasis, while the awe-inspiring performance by the Wadali Brothers had everyone entranced.
