Fusing the best of old as well as new architecture, Devyani and Vinit’s dreamy pre-wedding photo and video shoot in Qatar was spellbinding. Dramatically set against the stark beauty of the country’s varied landscape, this shoot mesmerised the senses as it seamlessly transitioned between contrasting locations. Shot by WeddingSutra Favorite – Once Upon A Time- Wedding Tales who captured the couple’s adorable moments this shoot will warm your heart with its loving moments.
Qatar is a treasure trove of wonders, be it modern or ancient. And one such wonder are the unique Pigeon Towers. Inspired by a design that dates back several centuries, these iconic towers were the first stop for the couple where they gazed at the wonder of Islamic architecture. Located at the Katara Cultural Village, the couple enjoyed several lovable moments under the sun as they twirled for the lenses and marvelled at the intricacies of the monuments. Striking a sharp contrast against the bright blue sky, the earthy tan hue of these monuments gave the couple a stunning backdrop.
At the Katara Cultural Village, the couple also visited the Katara Amphitheatre which was bathed in a golden glow of lanterns under the sunset sky. Relishing the open space and the sheer romance of the moment, Devyani and Vinit enjoyed several candid moments while taking in the splendour of their surroundings.
Next in line, was the famous Villagio that has been inspired by one of the most romantic cities on earth, Venice. Peppered with canals, old-school bridges and soft yellow buildings that look cheery under the desert sun, Devyani and Vinit were at their playful best as they savoured a cup of coffee at the local cafe, basked under the sun and looked picture-perfect walking hand in hand on the flower-adorned pavements by the canal.
When in Qatar, visiting the Doha Corniche is a must! And, this couple did that and more as they managed to capture some truly breathtaking shots of themselves by the aquamarine sea and sleek skyline. Plus, the duo also paid an ode to the rich culture of Qatar by taking a few shots against the vintage wooden trawlers that added a dash of warmth to the colour palette of their photographs.
Saving the best best for the last, the couple’s final stop was at the dramatic dunes. Located by the sea shore these dunes didn’t just amp up the beauty of the pictures but also symbolised the new chapter that the couple was about to embark on. Looking gorgeous in a flowy red dress, Devyani and a dapper Vinit were at their glamorous best in these shots which were the highlight of their pre-wedding photoshoot.
