This three-day destination wedding in Jaipur was an extravagant celebration of love brimming with unique internationally-inspired as well as traditional themes

Jatin Raheja and Dipin Kaur went all out when it came to grandeur at their three-day wedding planned by WeddingSutra Favorite – Tamarind Global Weddings. Unique themes, out-of-the-box concepts and seamless logistics were the key takeaways of this wedding where the guests were unhesitatingly indulged.

Hosted in December, the wedding commenced with a Welcome Lunch. Then it progressed to a Sunset Soiree, a Royal Polo Picnic, Sangeet ki Shaam, Anand Karaj and ended with a Noor-e-Mehfil that doubled up as reception and sufi night. Throughout this maze of events, Tamarind Global Weddings was at the forefront ensuring hiccups were kept at bay while the couple alongside their families enjoyed every minute of the union. Apart from conceptualising each event, team Tamarind Global was also on their toes as they handled the collateral designing, wedding invitation designing, ground logistics, RSVP, vendor coordination, in-room hamper sourcing and management.

Providing guests with much-needed refreshments after their journey to the wedding venue, the Welcome Lunch was a casual event. Rejuvenating drinks, a hearty spread, live classic instrumentalists and folk dancers ensured the mood was lively.

The following evening was the sunset soiree where the guests were transported to a land far away from Jaipur! Team Tamarind Global shares, “It was a poolside event, the theme of which was Beach Club, transporting the guests to a beautiful day in the French Riviera.”

Taking a cue from the regal surroundings of Jaipur, the planning team conceptualised a Royal Polo Picnic with a contemporary edge. Team Tamarind Global Weddings shares, “The exhilarating sport of camel polo was introduced to the guests to experience the true flavor of Rajasthan’s regal hospitality. Hosted outdoors, the guests were thrilled to be a part of the game while being guided by professionals. Blue and white printed parasols and huge tents sheltered the guests from the sun while floral centrepieces added elegance. The ladies also got their hands patterned with henna while they enjoyed glasses of chilled champagne.”

After the sun-kissed camel polo session, the guests were treated to a glamorous evening named ‘Sangeet ki Shaam’. Plush scarlet hues, candles, foliage and comfy furnishings adorned the open-air venue. Vintage-inspired chandeliers and red LED lights lit up the event as Bollywood singer Mika Singh graced the stage and serenaded the guests with his groovy numbers.

Shades of light rose pink and white were paired harmoniously to create a breathtaking setup for the Anand Karaj ceremony. Contrasting with the cerulean blue sky and the verdant lawn, the assortment of pink and lavender blooms lined the aisle. Meanwhile, fuschia furnishing ensured the guests remained comfortable throughout the rituals sheltered by light blue parasols.

The Sufi night with a ‘Noor-e-Mehfil’ theme was hosted indoors. White blooms, sufi performers, crystal candelabras, gilded arabesque designs and olive green furnishings with gold accents adorned the venue.

After their celebrations in Jaipur, the couple hosted a glamorous yet boho reception for their larger circle in Delhi. Ambient light created a cosy atmosphere while lush foliage and white blooms brightened the indoor venue. A harp player mesmerised the guests as they mingled freely and enjoyed a delicious dinner.
