Set against the ethereal beauty of The Leela Palace, Udaipur, the wedding celebrations of Avanti and Harsh unfolded as a seamless blend of grandeur and intimacy. Meticulously planned by WeddingSutra Favorite – Kraafted Luxury Events & Experiences, the multi-day affair was marked by immersive designs and bespoke experiences that reflected the couple’s personalities and shared vision.
What set this celebration apart was the deeply personal detailing. From customised welcome hampers to engraved perfume favours bearing the couple’s initials, every element carried the couple’s signature. The mandap and cocktail décor were standout masterpieces of immersive design. Guests were pampered with flawless hospitality, stellar entertainment, and a culinary journey that celebrated both flavor and flair.
Wedding Functions
Mehendi
The festivities commenced with a vivacious Mehendi Market hosted in the Inner Courtyard, where bursts of citrusy yellows, hot pinks, and tropical oranges painted the venue with joyful flair. Oversized floral installations and eclectic seating created a festive bazaar-like atmosphere, brimming with vibrant energy and playful detailing. Books, fruits, and whimsical signage adorned the décor, offering visual treats at every turn. Guests mingled amidst refreshing drinks and laughter, soaking in the sun-drenched vibrance of this cheerfully curated afternoon.
Night at Shikharbaugh
As twilight descended, the Croquet Lawns transformed into a dramatic dreamscape for ‘Night at Shikharbaugh’. With opulent red velvet drapes, ornate wallpaper, and vintage curios, the space was a decadent ode to old-world glamour. Candlelit tables, Persian rugs, and plush lounge arrangements evoked the ambience of an eccentric literary salon. Framed artworks and gold detailing added layers of character, inviting guests into an atmosphere steeped in mystery and elegance.
Haldi and Brunch
The Haldi & Brunch unfolded in a spirited palette of sunshine yellow, tangy tangerine, and marigold orange. Held once again in the Inner Courtyard, the décor channelled a zesty Mediterranean mood with woven cane accents, floral-infused backdrops, and playful citrus elements. Gigantic floral pinwheels and tropical foliage added whimsy to the rustic tablescapes.
Wedding
The wedding ceremony, held in the Outer Courtyard, was a surreal celebration of contemporary romance wrapped in floral finesse. A mirrored mandap adorned with cascading pink foliage and oversized botanical sculptures served as the pièce de résistance — a visionary design that truly encapsulated Avanti’s dreamlike aesthetic. Framed by the tranquil waters of Lake Pichola, the setup was both breathtaking and poetic. The most poignant moment arrived as the bride walked down the aisle to the sound of her own heartfelt voiceover, which was a deeply emotional tribute that left not a single dry eye in the audience.
Cocktail
The final evening, aptly titled ‘Cocktails by the Pichola’, was hosted at the Guava Garden. An enchanting orchard-style setup came alive under the night sky, with clear ghost chairs, mirrored tables, and hundreds of roses strung across trees. Illuminated by warm candlelight and the gentle rustle of leaves, the setting struck a perfect balance between garden romance and modern sophistication.
