Using handcrafted and traditional decor elements, this home-based pre-wedding event in Muscat was a stylish spectacle
Wedding Planning - Feb 10, 2021
Basking under the bright Muscat sun and brimming with blooms, this intimate mandva muhurat and grah shanti ceremony exuded tranquil vibes. Planned and decorated by WeddingSutra Favorite – Mosaic Events who used their unbridled creativity and attention to detail to bring the couple and their families’ vision to life, this home-based pre-wedding ceremony left everyone spellbound.
Combining contemporary and traditional design elements that were in sync with the happy couple’s sensibilities, the venue was adorned with a variety of delicate blooms that gave a surreal and romantic feel to the entire event. Describing the decor and rigorous planning that went behind orchestrating the event, planner Krupa Khimji from Mosaic Events Oman shares, “Every flower used at the venue was real and as a result, the whole place just smelled divine. Decor aside, safety was also one of the topmost priorities for us and keeping the pandemic in mind, we ensured that all guests were given a sanitization kit on entering so that they could stay safe and feel at ease throughout the proceedings.
Additionally, sanitization booths that blended right into the decor were also placed at various points. Each vendor and their team was also tested for COVID -19 and only then allowed to work onsite.
On the decor front, we stayed true to the classics and used pink, white, and gold-hued elements to create an atmosphere that encouraged each attendee to relax and celebrate. Additionally, to make sure the spotlight shone brightly on the bride, an intricately carved flower-adorned swing served as her seat where she could lounge in comfort while enjoying the stunning views around her.”
Sheltered under a ceiling covered with exclusive handcrafted fans, floral tassels and seated on delicate white cushioned chairs, the guests were treated to a stunning view that consisted of the Muscat shoreline and a mirror encrusted statue of Lord Shrinathji that glimmered and glowed under the sun. To further accentuate the beauty of the statue of the deity, traditional silver plated vases adorned with pink lilies and lush foliage were place on mirrored pillars to flank the pristine white floored stage. Peppered with pink ombre roses, golden flower vases, and foliage, the entrance looked straight out of a fairytale.
