Wedding Inspiration of the Week: Le Méridien Dubai Hotel and Conference Centre
Destination Weddings, Travel & Honeymoon, Wedding Planning - Jul 8, 2019
Indian weddings are a kaleidoscope of colors, customs, and concepts, and they deserve to be hosted in a venue that enhances every aspect of such special occasions. With multiple pre-wedding functions that lead up to the big day, Indian nuptials are no short-lived affairs. Catering to such multi-function extravaganzas is the Le Méridien Dubai Hotel and Conference Centre. Surrounded by 38 acres of verdant gardens, the property offers 580 rooms with superior amenities and decor. The 5,500 square meters of conference and banquet facilities here offer a new setting for every ceremony.
Our editors have put together a mood board for four different wedding functions that explore unique themes at the hotel’s distinctive spaces.
The Falcon Ballroom for a Vintage Glam Sangeet
Opulent and elegant, the Falcon Ballroom sets the tone for a scintillating sangeet that is steeped in old-school glamour. The wood finished walls, decked with mirror panels and pillars, showcase golden accents that add to the luxurious quality of the venue. The decor elements, on the other hand, look wonderful under the glow of the statement chandeliers hanging from the beautiful ceiling trimmed with elaborate cornices. The ballroom can accommodate 500 guests and is bound to impress all with its dramatic setting.
The Wasl Ballroom for a Carnival Themed Brunch
The Wasl Ballroom, with its modern yet chic ambiance, offers a versatile setting for celebrations that include diverse moods and can accommodate 170 guests. The dark wood panel walls are dressed in floor-length drapes in white, and the mirrors on its surface reflect the light of the room’s artistic chandeliers. A brunch with a contemporary monochrome theme that embraces black and white decor along with hints of red is perfect for this venue.
The Great Ballroom for a Sophisticated Wedding
The largest ballroom at the Le Méridien Dubai Hotel and Conference Centre is called The Great Ballroom, and it truly lives up to its name. It can host a gathering of 1750 people with ease, and it’s easy to imagine exquisite concepts transforming into a reality here. Decor that makes use of white, peach and red florals along with majestic golden arches and sheer drapes brings the aura of a palace celebration within the spacious environs of this ballroom. The venue also includes a Majlis and a Bridal Suite.
