What a Bride needs – the perfect outfit and her girls!

Asked how she’d describe her own wedding persona, young bride-to-be Bhumika Patel says she epitomizes the “perfectionist bride”. She’s not among those who believes in last-minute planning or winging it when it comes to outfits. For her trousseau, even months before her wedding date was set, meticulous Bhumika had a specific idea of what her big day was going to look like.
Her perfectionism makes the serendipity that brought her and her fiancé together even more poignant. “It was like a movie”, she tells us excitedly. The couple met as potential suitors at an arranged marriage meeting and both said ‘no’. But, “two years ago, we met again at a mutual cousin’s wedding. We started talking, chatting, went on dates… and things just clicked between us! So we decided to go ahead and tell our families about it. They more than happily agreed!”
And what does her future husband think of the wedding prep so far? Bhumika chimes in with, “He loves all my outfits!” We rest our case.He’s not alone, Bhumika’s bridesmaids are going gaga over her choice of jewellery and trousseau too.
Flyrobe, India’s largest fashion rental service, recently decided to surprise this gang of girls by arranging a fun-filled, pre-wedding, glamour shoot for them. “I believe we made memories that will last a lifetime! I’ve always admired bride and bridesmaids’ photoshoot whenever I saw them on social media. Now thanks to Bhumika and Flyrobe I get to be a part of one too!”
Bhumika loved that the outfits for the photoshoot were so light, flowy and easy to carry off. She particularly loved the dhoti pants with a crop top and jacket combo one of her bridesmaids was wearing. No small feat impressing this young bride who is a budding designer and takes keen interest in every aspect of her wedding, from decorating the spaces to designing the invitations. “That’s what makes me love my future husband so much. He’s so supportive and lets me take the reigns when it comes to wedding planning completely”, she giggles.
Bhumika leaves us with these final words of wisdom, “Once you’ve locked something down, be confident in your decision. Stay calm and deal with things one at a time. Chill. It’s your wedding day, tell yourself you’ve got everything covered!” And we’re sure you do, Bhumika.
