White blooms, a monochromatic stage and LED lights – this couple’s white and gold-hued sangeet gave glamour a leg-up!

With a series of vivid celebrations that reflected the exuberant personalities of the couple, Naina and Anshul celebrated their new beginning joyfully. Recollecting the story of how they first crossed paths, Naina shares, “Anshul and I met in New York, US where we went for our Masters. His caring nature, his love and his unconditional support won my heart forever. I decided to give myself and us a chance. After dating for 4 years, he proposed to me in March 2021 over the NYC skyline in a helicopter and I obviously said ‘Yes!’. We both were very excited about our wedding and spent almost a year planning everything. Finally, we tied the knot in November 2022.”
Giving us an overview of the planning process, the bride shares, “We decided to go with one of the wedding planners on the panel of the venue since they had a relationship with the hotel staff and we felt it made a lot of decisions easier.
For my wedding function makeup I wanted a very natural look. A piece of advice to all brides-to-be would be to not just go by the pictures on the makeup artists’ Instagram profiles as a lot of them put filters on their posts. Make sure to take a trial before finalizing any MUA for your events and plan your looks in advance to avoid any last-minute confusion.
The decor was decided on the colour of our outfits and also our personalities. We both don’t like over-the-top decor but simple, classy and elegant yet beautiful. So all the décor was reflecting our vibe and personalities.
We thoroughly enjoyed all of our functions to the fullest and created some amazing memories with our family and friends!”
Mehndi
Decorated with ethnic parasols and vibrant drapes, the mehndi was an intimate evening event where the couple had a gala time dancing the bhangra with their loved ones.
Sangeet
Naina shares, “One of our main functions was Sangeet/Cocktail where we had a molecular bar and elegant decor with a big stage for performances! We chose white and gold as the color palette and it was in perfect tandem with our outfits.”
Engagement
Flaunting simple floral decor, the engagement gave dreamy vibes. Flanked by a floral wall, the couple looked stunning as they exchanged rings!
Haldi
Colorful and vibrant décor with family and friends dancing on dhol, haldi was a totally fun-filled affair.
Wedding
Naina shares, “We continued the theme of our wedding outfits staying in sync with the decor for the wedding too. The pink and white wedding stage was perfectly in line with our wedding wear. Floral arches, crystals and flowy white drapes made the entire experience so dreamy! Our mandap was also nothing less than perfect and exactly how we both imagined it to be.”
Reception
Hosted indoors, the reception was a glamorous night as the couple celebrated the beginning of their new adventure with their loved ones. Clad in a beautiful red saree, the bride looked stunning while the groom contrasted her in a black suit.
Orchestrating an unforgettable wedding is not a cakewalk. And, learning from their own experiences, the couple shares, “For all the couples planning their wedding I would advise them to choose things that match their vibes instead of going with the trends. It’s important to enjoy those days to the fullest as it’s the most memorable time of a couple’s life so delegate tasks accordingly!”
