As part of our new initiative ‘WeddingSutra on Location’ we invited four brides-to-be for a unique experience at Fizaa (by Zarine Khan), the multi-designer fashion studio in Juhu, Mumbai. Starting with a Style Consultation, a Makeover and a Photo shoot, each of the four participants got to interact with some of the best names in Bridal & Wedding services. Here, in the fourth of the four-part series, Jenica Thakkar, blogs about her experience.
“I rushed to Fizaa for ‘WeddingSutra on Location’ straight from work feeling all exhausted and drained. But stepping into Fizaa instantaneously rejuvenated me. I had walked into a few hours of pampering. Sakshi Mehra, the stylist and I considered various outfit options from the bridal collection and zeroed in on a pink anarkali by Anushree Reddy with gold sequin work. A fuschia pink and orange dupatta with gold and floral border was added to compliment the entire look. Hairstylist Ishita Khanna teased my hair a bit and left them open with soft dreamy curls. Kumar Iyer made me look amazing with natural makeup and a soft pink pout. I didn’t ever imagine being treated to a relaxing bridal experience like this! With people who worked passionately to make me feel like a true bride! I gained a better understanding of my personality and my wedding style and I’m most pleased with the fact that I’m now clearer about my wedding day look. I can summarize my experience in 3 words – relaxing, fun and glamourous.”
