For leading Indian designer and bride-to-be Sonaakshi Raaj, the gates of Varuna’s store opened and transported her to a diamond-encrusted wonderland. Over the course of her consultation, Varuna identified Sonaakshi’s style to be contemporary yet trendsetting, especially on a milestone occasion. She then created two styles that would add to the elegance of her reception ensemble. The first look showcased a profusion of dazzling diamonds necklace set in white and yellow gold, with multiple layers of fancy cut diamonds fixed in cascading lines. A ruby and diamond ring designed to spread over two fingers was reminiscent of ‘The Great Gatsby’ era, while looped gold polish earrings stood out with clusters of fancy-cut diamonds. The sultry second look comprised stacked diamond bracelets in three shades of gold, a gold polish diamond encrusted ring with a spectacular bluestone, and five-dimensional diamond earrings.
The jewellery paired perfectly with the crimson jewelled couture gown designed by Sonaakshi herself. Hand-woven with intricate embroidery, beads, and stonework, the gown also featured a sweetheart neckline and thigh-high slit. The cut and fit sculpted Sonaakshi’s figure elegantly and created the perfect silhouette for a chic reception soiree.
Sonaakshi’s makeup by Neha Shah was all about exuding a sophisticated glow. Neha gave her defined brows, bold lashes, and a delicate pout; and styled her open tresses in soft flowing waves.
