Experience the gorgeous transformation of bride-to-be Binti Kesaria at WeddingSutra On Location
In the second of this three -part series, ‘bride-to-be Binti Kesaria shares her experiences at the ‘WeddingSutra on Location’ shoot at the Gaurav Gupta Studio, Mumbai. The lovely bride-to-be chose a lehenga in powder blue, accessorized with a gorgeous statement choker, antique jhumkas and a ring set from Azva. Binti’s make up was done by Lekha Shah using Lakme Absolute’s finest to accentuate the bride’s delicate features. It was all caught on camera by the talented photographer Deepanshi Kapoor of Happyframes Photography who ensured the girls looked their candid best on the day.
“I’ve always enjoyed the content on WeddingSutra. It’s an all-round database for all things wedding! I was pleasantly surprised when my entry featured in the ‘Just Engaged’ section and delighted when shortly after, I was informed of my selection to feature in the WeddingSutra on Location shoot!
It all started with lehenga fittings at the Gaurav Gupta Studio in Kala Ghoda. I love all his creations but the powder blue and gold palette of this lehenga caught my eye. I thought it suited my personality well and would go beautifully with the antique gold jewellery from Azva.
The jewellery! The choker with the statement jhumkis and ring from Azva brought a traditional note to the overall indo-western look.
Then makeup artist Lekha Shah chose the best products from the Lakme Absolute range to accentuate my natural features and give me an effervescent pixie glow! My hair was left in soft waves that enhanced the sophisticated subtlety of the entire look.
The photo session with Deepanshi Kapoor of Happyframes was the best! She was not only patient with all of us but also really friendly, so much so that we almost forgot that she was shooting us! In all, my experience with WeddingSutra was amazing; it also made me a bit more aware and confident as a ‘bride-to-be’!”
Binti’s Look
Lekha decided to use a soft makeup base to accentuate Binti’s natural features. She began with the Lakmé Absolute Illuminating Foundation and a light brush of the Lakmé Absolute White Intense Wet and Dry Compact to given her a flawless base. Then a tinge of color to the cheeks via the Lakme Absolute Face Stylist Blush Duo in Peach. The eyes were the major focus of the look and they were accentuated with the Lakmé Absolute Precision Eye Artist Kajal in black. Smoky eyes were created courtesy generous coats of the Lakmé Absolute Flutter Secrets Volume Mascara. And finally, the cherry on top was actually Peaches N Cream, the Lakme Absolute Argan Oil Lip Color. An understated glam look!
