Experience the gorgeous transformation of bride-to-be Chandni Fatnani in some of WeddingSutra’s Favorites.
WeddingSutra’s most popular bridal initiative, WeddingSutra On Location, was held at the beautiful Ensemble store in Santacruz, Mumbai. In the second of this three-part series, Chandni Fatnani shares her memorable moments of her WeddingSutra On Location experience.
Chandni’s beautiful bridal makeover included wearing a gorgeous maroon lehenga by Tarun Tahiliani. Her flawless makeup was thanks to the Lakmé Absolute range used by beauty whiz Recinda Martis. She looked resplendent in her bespoke gold jewellery was from Azva and carefully engineered stylish VIP suitcases helped the bride-to-be carry on her belongings with ease..
This fun shoot was conducted by the team of Once Upon a Time – Wedding Tales.
When the WeddingSutra team checked in with Chandni, she shared that her wedding preparations were going on, and how she had derived a lot of inspiration and ideas from WeddingSutra to help her plan the process. “I was introduced to WeddingSutra by a friend, and I have been following their social media channels for the longest time. I love that all the information and inspiring ideas are easily accessible. So when I heard about the WeddingSutra on Location opportunity, I was very excited and sent them an email immediately. I soon received a confirmation – and here I am!”
Chandni also felt that the VIP bags that she was given during the shoot is like a dream come true for every bride – it is spacious and at the same time lightweight and super easy to move around with.
Describing her experience, Chandni adds, “We began by picking an outfit for me which turned out to be a gorgeous maroon lehenga by Tarun Tahiliani paired with a net dupatta that had a pretty border with intricate designs. The color complimented my skin tone, and the detailed work on the lehenga looked regal. It suited my personality well and paired beautifully with the gorgeous jewellery from Azva. Makeup artist Recinda Martis chose the best products from the Lakmé Absolute range to accentuate my natural features and give me an effervescent glow! I was very comfortable with Recinda, and my experience with her was one of the best aspects of this shoot. The team of Once Upon a Time – Wedding Tales was so professional and helpful. I’m rather camera shy and was a little nervous at first. But they were patient, friendly and experts at making me feel comfortable in front of the camera.”
Chandni’s Look
Recinda decided to use a soft makeup base to accentuate Chandni’s natural features. She began with the Lakmé Absolute Illuminating Foundation and a light brush of the Lakmé Absolute White Intense Wet and Dry Compact to give her a flawless base. Then she added a tinge of color to Chandi’s cheeks with Lakmé Absolute Illuminating Shimmer Brick for a natural blush. Recinda accentuated Chandni’s naturally expressive eyes with generous coats of Lakmé Absolute Flutter Secrets Volume Mascara and the Lakmé Absolute Precision Eye Artist Kajal in black. The cherry on top was a hint of color on the lips – the Lakmé Absolute Lip Pout – Creme in Plum Rush.
