WeddingSutra held its most popular bridal initiative at the WeddingSutra On Location Special Edition. The event was held at the luxurious Four Seasons Hotel located in the bustling business and commercial heart of Mumbai. Starting with a Style Consultation, followed by a Makeover and culminating in a professional Photo Shoot, each participant had the opportunity to interact with some of the best names in Bridal and Wedding services.
In the fourth of this five-part series, bride-to-be Dipti Satwani talks about her wonderful experience and the great advice she received at the WeddingSutra on Location Special Edition at the Four Seasons, Mumbai.
“I knew that brides-to-be love the whole experience of a shoot that doubles up as a rehearsal to the wedding. I’m getting married in March next year and this experience was just a perfect run-through. Just being a part of this special event, dressed as a bride, made me realize how wonderful it is. And the Four Seasons has such a luxurious vibe and it was a really exciting venue for the shoot too!
I’ve always dreamed of donning a Sabyasachi creation and I was just thrilled to finally wear one of his lehengas! Team WeddingSutra helped me pick a lovely lehenga in pink that was traditional, feminine and looked very sophisticated. It was exactly what I’d envisioned for my big day. The entire shopping experience at AZA was superb.
The jewellery by Azva was beautifully crafted and went perfectly with my pink attire. I’m a big fan of jhumkis and these were gorgeous and also lightweight.
Cory Wallia doing my make up! It was a dream come true! He gave me a look that brightened my face with soft, perfect eyes. Then Fiona, the hairstylist, showed that she knew exactly how to enhance my facial structure when she gave me cascading curls and waves, a very glamorous look.
Throughout the shoot, photographer Arjun Menon was super fun to work with. He was a perfectionist and yet, made me feel comfortable. We were all having such a great time I didn’t even realize when the shoot got over.
In all, the WeddingSutra team was fabulous and made sure everyone had a memorable day; hope my big day is as perfect as this one.”
Dipti’s look
Dipti is blessed with a gorgeous complexion and makeup artist Cory Walia decided to accentuate it by giving her a flawless, airbrushed look with smoky eyes. He started with a light base, the Lakmé Absolute Illuminating Foundation even her skin tone and make it look dewy. He then followed it up with a light brush of the Lakmé Absolute White Intense Wet and Dry Compact on her T-zones for a truly vibrant finish. Cory created a stand-out effect by outlining Dipti’s eyes with the Lakmé Absolute Kohl Ultimate and finished the perfect, smoky, sultry look with coats of the Lakmé Absolute Flutter Secrets Volume Mascara.A subtle blush to Dipti’s cheeks courtesy the Lakmé Absolute Illuminating Shimmer Brick for that brought out her inner glow. The final touch was the hint of pink to match her lehenga – the Lakmé Absolute Illuminating Lip Shimmer in Pink Flash.
