WeddingSutra’s most popular bridal initiative, WeddingSutra On Location, was held at the beautiful JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu. Bride-to-be Jhanvi Thakkar donned a beautiful peach lehenga by Arpita Mehta and paired it with gorgeous gold jewellery from Azva. Celebrity makeup artist Ojas Rajani skillfully brought out the best of Jhanvi’s features while WhatKnot helped her with essential tips as she posed gracefully for the pictures.
Having arrived at the hotel, Jhanvi was whisked away to a luxury suite where preparations to make her feel like the most important person of the day were well in place. After the team greeted her, she made her way to the wardrobe section where she had to pick out a lehenga. It was a flurry of intricate florals embroidered with shimmering gold thread that caught her eye. The Arpita Mehta lehenga in peach featured buttis on the skirt and the gilded flowers on the blouse. The ensemble was paired with a light peach dupatta. The pastel colors and the delicate work on the outfit matched perfectly with Jhanvi’s gentle, youthful persona.
This bride-to-be then chose a necklace and earrings from Azva. The skillfully crafted jewellery was lined with pearls that brought romance to the design. The gold jewellery kept perfect time with the gold embroidery on her blouse and the ensemble was beautifully fluid. Jhanvi also picked gold bangles and statement rings featuring fine detailing and exceptional craft.
Celebrity makeup artist Ojas Rajani went with the spring bride opulence and gave Jhanvi a fresh and dewy look. The youthful visage also highlighted her flawless skin. She played up the drama with bold lip colors while letting the rest of the face exude a soft glow.
Jhanvi’s Look
To prep Jhanvi’s skin, Ojas began with Lakme Absolute Blur Perfect Makeup Primer. Once the primer set it, she used the Lakmé Absolute Illuminating Foundation as a base. The foundation was set with the Lakmé Absolute White Intense Wet and Dry Compact. Lakmé Absolute Sun Kissed Bronzer was applied to contour and bring definition the eyes were highlighted with Lakmé Absolute Gel Addict. Ojas added a touch of mystery when she darkened her lashes using the Lakmé Absolute Flutter Secrets Dramatic Eyes Mascara. The cherry on the top was a berry tone – drawing focus to her lips, Ojas used the Lakmé Absolute Gloss Addict in Berry Crush.
