WeddingSutra’s most popular bridal initiative, WeddingSutra On Location, was held in the green gardens of The Courtyard House, Bangalore. In the third of this three-part series, Manmeet Kaur looked gorgeous in a peach lehenga from Evoluzione Bangalore that was matched with stunning jewellery from Azva. As House on the Clouds shot beautifully composed frames, Zorains Studio made sure that this bride-to-be’s makeup was on point all day.

Manmeet loved being part of the shoot and makeover experience and definitely had some special moments in an altogether special day. She tells us how she first heard of WeddingSutra On Location, “As we began gearing up for the wedding, I found myself drawn back to the WeddingSutra website and Instagram account, over and over again. As a regular visitor, the day I saw an invitation to Bangalore brides for the shoot, I simply had to get in touch! And I’m so glad to be a part of this shoot!”

The day began with outfit selections and fittings. Manmeet fell in love with a peach lehenga by Mrunalini Rao – a delicately embroidered skirt teamed with a blouse glittering in gold sequins, finished with a net dupatta in the same color as the skirt.

“While picking out my trousseau for the wedding, I’ve realized I have a natural affinity for shades of pink and peach. Most of the wedding outfits I bought are in those hues and when I saw the blouse of this lehenga I fell in love with the work on it. I put it on and like magic, it fit perfectly! There was no need to look any further,” Manmeet says.

She enhanced the look with gold jewellery from Azva; the fine craftsmanship of the pieces striking and complementary.

Manmeet is a data scientist who also moonlights as a model. Her experience in front of the camera was evident and she says, “It was so much fun shooting with the House on the Clouds team. I loved that they didn’t ask us to be posy and just wanted our natural selves. It was a great day filled with some good laughs.”

As Zorains Studio worked their magic, Manmeet fell in love with the transformation. How much in love? Enough to make a last minute change to a Zorains artist for her wedding. Manmeet says, “The makeup for the shoot was so breathtaking I decided to book an artist from Zorains Studio. Before the shoot, I’d been saying any makeup artist would do, but the professionalism and flawless application by the Zorains Studio team blew me away. Even the way the team took care of the hairstyling was brilliant. They were swift and knew exactly what they were doing”

Manmeet’s Makeup Zorain gave Manmeet a look that drew attention to her eyes and to balance out, she kept the rest of the face understated. She started by prepping Manmeet’s skin using the Lakmé Absolute Mattreal Skin Natural Mousse and set the foundation using the Lakmé Absolute White Intense Wet and Dry Compact. To bring definition to Manmeet’s eyes, they were lined using Lakme Absolute Gel Addict and finished off with Lakme Absolute Flutter Secrets Dramatic Eyes Mascara to add some intensity. With Lakme Absolute Face Stylist Blush Duos Peach Blush Zorains Studio added a touch of blush on her cheeks and her lips were completed using Lakmé Absolute Lip Pout – Matte.
