The two resplendent leisure properties where the shoot was hosted- Al Bustan Palace, a Ritz-Carlton Hotel, and Shangri-La’s Barr Al Jissah Resort & Spa, combined with the undulating Omani dunes, iridescent beaches and dramatic mountain backdrops made for a unforgettable wedding rehearsal experience for 3 lucky WeddingSutra Readers.

Here, in the second of the three-part series, bride-to-be Natasha Samant shares her unique experience with WeddingSutra on Location in Oman.

“Being a bride-to-be can be extremely nerve wracking and confusing, whether it’s choosing your clothes and jewellery, deciding on the perfect pair of shoes or selecting a make-up artist you are comfortable with. And photographs! Probably the most important decision of all. You need someone who can capture your big day in the most beautiful way.

Most girls get just one shot at getting all these factors right. I’ve been so fortunate to have had the chance to go through this whole experience not just once, but three times already! And in beautiful Oman too, all thanks to WeddingSutra!

The entire experience was delightful and team WeddingSutra made us feel extremely comfortable. Courtesy WeddingSutra we checked into two of the most luxurious hotels in Muscat- The Ritz Carlton Al Bustan Palace and Shangri-La’s Barr Al Jissah Resort & Spa where we experienced hospitality at its best!

One of the many highlights was getting the chance to be the focus of the skillful lenses of ace photographers Ashwin & Jhalak (Shades Photography). For someone not at all used to being in front of the camera, they put me at ease and I ended up really enjoying myself!

The best part of this WeddingSutra On Location was the opportunity to explore three completely different looks; the best sort of dress rehearsal for my own wedding. Through the intensive process, I discovered what kind of make-up and hair suited me best, thanks to make-up expert Amrita Sanghavi who was so reassuring and considered all my suggestions.

This was truly a once in a lifetime chance and I’m so thankful to WeddingSutra for allowing me to feel like a princess for three magical days.”
