Parita Nishar at Ensemble, Mumbai
Experience the gorgeous transformation of bride-to-be Parita Nishar in some of WeddingSutra’s Favorites.
WeddingSutra’s most popular bridal initiative, WeddingSutra On Location, was held at the beautiful Ensemble store in Kala Ghoda, Mumbai. In the first of this three -part series, bride-to-be Parita Nishar shares her experience at the ‘WeddingSutra On Location’.
Parita tells us all about her bridal makeover – wearing a gorgeous, bright, yellow and pink lehenga by Anushree Reddy, flawless makeup by Lakme Absolute crafted by beauty whiz Lekha Shah of The Cut Collective, bespoke gold jewellery from Azva and a fun- filled photo session with photographers Namit and Vipul of Knotty Affair.
“A friend introduced me to WeddingSutra two years ago,” Parita says, going on to rave about how she was immediately hooked to the site’s content for its quality and insight. Her friends had also raved about the WeddingSutra on Location shoots, so she says, “I took the plunge and applied to be featured. To my delight, I was selected!”
The transformation began by picking from the range of styles available at the Ensemble store in the heritage precinct of Kala Ghoda, Mumbai. One lehenga stood out, “It was a ravishing yellow and pink with intricate work in gold,” Parita says of the Anushree Reddy lehenga she fell in love with, “The pink really brought out my complexion. The yellow and gold just spelled royalty.”
Next it was time to accessorize, a task made easy by the selection on hand by Azva. “There was a range of timeless jewellery that would elevate the entire look. I chose a handcrafted gold necklace and beautiful earrings – a combination of sophistication and luxury. Irresistible.”
Lekha Shah was called in to work her makeup magic using the finest from Lakme Absolute, Parita says, “She gave me a very elegant, chic look which perfectly complemented my ensemble.”
And then it was time to capture the moment. The talented duo – Namit and Vipul from Knotty Affair got to work and the bride-to-be loved it, “Both Namit and Vipul made me feel comfortable and less camera conscious by constantly chatting with me throughout the shoot.”
Parita’s Look
Lekha decided to use a subtle makeup base to accentuate Parita’s natural features. She began with the Lakmé Absolute Illuminating Foundation and light strokes of the Lakmé Absolute White Intense Wet and Dry Compact to give her a flawless base. Lekha then added a touch of the Lakme Absolute Bronzer in Sunkissed which not only warmed the skin tone but also helped contour. Her gorgeous eyes were accentuated with generous coats of the Lakmé Absolute Flutter Secrets Volume Mascara and the Lakmé Absolute Precision Eye Artist Kajal in black. The glamorous bridal look was completed with a touch of the sublime Lakmé Absolute Argan Oil Lip Color in Lush Rose.
