Rihaa Kothhari – Four Seasons, Worli
Discover her transformation as a Sabyasachi bride at the WeddingSutra on Location Special Edition at Four Seasons Hotel, Mumbai.
WeddingSutra held a Special Edition of its most popular bridal initiative – the WeddingSutra on Location at Four Seasons, Worli to showcase the best in bridal style statements for this wedding season. Starting with a Style Consultation, followed by a Makeover and culminating in a professional Photo Shoot, each participating bride-to-be had the opportunity to interact with some of the best names in Bridal and Wedding services.
In the first of this five-part series, bride-to-be Rihaa Kothhari tells us about her experience with WeddingSutra on Location at the Four Seasons, Mumbai.
“I’ve always had a fairy tale wedding in mind and I was so pampered that day! To start with, the location of the shoot was perfect, like a dream come true. I remember trying on a lot of lehengas in the store until I saw a beautiful green Sabyasachi creation. I think it suited me really well – it was gorgeous and made me look very elegant. The jewellery we picked was from Azva, the perfect combination of sophistication and luxury. It complemented the lehenga so beautifully and came together like a dream.
I was really lucky to have Cory Wallia as a makeup artist. He decided to give me a regal look and worked to accentuate my natural features. He did this with emphasis on the eyes and then suggested a hairdo that would enhance my jawline. Fiona gave me a messy bun that flaunted the highlights in my hair and made me look my best.
At the candid photoshoot, the photographer Arjun Menon was fun and the process wasn’t stressful at all. In fact, my entire WeddingSutra experience was great – the team members were so friendly and helpful and looked after me so well. We were like a big family. They gave me a lot of confidence during the shoot and brought the best out of me. I’m so grateful for that!”
Rihaa’s Look
Ace Makeup Artist, Cory Walia decided to evoke royalty by placing special emphasis on the eyes using subtle, smoky hues. He started with the Lakmé Absolute Illuminating Foundation as the feather-light base and then used Lakmé Absolute White Intense Wet and Dry Compact for an absolutely flawless finish. Cory built drama around the eyes with the help of the Lakmé Absolute Illuminating Eye Shadow Palette – Gold palette, using the gold, brown and green shade to create light, smoky effects. The Lakmé Absolute Precision Eye Artist Kajal< added that extra bit of definition. The impact was perfected with coats of Lakmé Absolute Flutter Secrets Volume Mascara to make the eyes look vibrant. Cory added color to the visage with Lakmé Absolute Illuminating Shimmer Brick for a natural blush and finished the entire look with Lakmé Absolute Illuminating Lip Shimmer in Crimson Blink on her lips.
