WeddingSutra’s most popular bridal initiative, WeddingSutra On Location, was held at the beautiful Ensemble store in Kala Ghoda, Mumbai. In the third of this three -part series, Shikhani Shah shares her experience at the most recent ‘WeddingSutra On Location’.
Resplendent in an Anamika Khanna lehenga, a choli by Arpita Mehta, her stunning statement necklace from Azva along with intricate earrings, with makeup by Lekha Shah of The Cut Collective who crafted a subtle glamor using the finest products from Lakme Absolute, Shikhani’s wonderful experience was captured by WeddingSutra Favorite photographers Namit and Vipul of Knotty Affair.
There was so much beauty on display at the store. So Shikhani was compelled to combine the work of two designers to create an ensemble worthy of a wedding. She picked a gorgeous pink lehenga covered in gold motifs and paired it with a pink choli. The effect was regal and radiant.
She accessorized the outfit with a gold necklace that used traditional patterns rendered in modern asymmetry – an immediate pique of design detail.
Using the finest from Lakme Absolute to give Shikhani a very elegant, chic look, Lekha Shah worked her magic. She accentuated her eyes with lots of kohl and mascara making them brighter and more defined. Photographer Namit and Vipul of Knotty Affair were on hand, capturing each lovely moment as it unfolded.
Shikhani’s Look
With a reflected glow from the pink of her lehenga, Shikhani’s make up was going to be natural. Lekha started with the Lakmé Absolute Illuminating Foundation on Shikhani’s flawless skin. The base was set with a gentle brush of the Lakmé Absolute White Intense Wet and Dry Compact. To accentuate her eyes, she lined them with the Lakmé Absolute Precision Eye Artist Kajal in black and applied the Lakmé Absolute Flutter Secrets Volume Mascara for extra dimension. Lekha finished with the Lakmé Absolute Argan Oil Lip Color in Lush Rose to perfect the bridal look.
