WeddingSutra’s most popular bridal initiative, WeddingSutra On Location, was held at The Courtyard House, Bangalore In the third of this three-part series, bride-to-be Sujana Haridas shares her experience at ‘WeddingSutra On Location’.
Sujana’s bridal makeover comprised being flawlessly made up in Lakme Absolute products by the talented team from Zorains Studio, dressed in a gorgeous pink and red lehenga by Varun Bahl from Evoluzione and finally, adorned in bespoke gold jewellery from Azva. Her makeover and glamorous look was captured in a fun-filled photo session with photographers House On The Clouds.
Sujana says, “Now that I’m about to tie the knot, I’m on WeddingSutra all the time. It’s my go-to social media page. For one thing, all the information and inspiration is easily accessible and it’s a delight to breeze through the site. I didn’t know that much about makeup but after going through the site’s content, I now understand what I really want for the wedding.” Sujana says she’d seen previous editions of WeddingSutra on Location and “this time when I saw the Instagram post inviting brides, I took the plunge and applied to be featured. I’m so pleased I was selected!”
“I was a bundle of nerves before the shoot,” Sujana admits, “But the team really helped. They gave me a warm welcome and then helped me pick a gorgeous red and pink lehenga with a net dupatta by Varun Bahl.” Sujana was bang on trend with red and pink being the color combination of choice on this week’s couture runways.
“The team from Zorains Studio chose the best of the Lakmé Absolute range to accentuate my natural features and give me an effervescent glow! They also gave me some really helpful advice for the big day. And then, it was a pleasure to pose for the talented photographers from House On The Clouds. They were so professional and helpful. They suggested various poses and were patient and made me feel very comfortable.”
Embodying beauty and poise, Sujana was stunning to look at and came across as every bit the naturally graceful professional classical dancer she is.
Sujana’s Look
Team Zorains Studio started with a feather-light Lakmé Absolute Illuminating Foundation that evenly blends into the skin, and set it with the hydrating formula of Lakmé Absolute White Intense Wet and Dry Compact in Ivory Fair. To highlight the eyes, they used the Lakmé Absolute Precision Eye Artist in black for a bold eyeliner. They paid special attention to Sujana’s lashes by applying a couple of coats of the Lakmé Absolute Flutter Secrets Volume Mascara for more definition. On the lips, they chose to give her a plump red pout with the Lakmé Absolute Luxe Matte Lip Color with Argan Oil in Red Velvet. Finally, her hair was styled in soft curls.
