Set against the magnificent Taj Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad, each look was created keeping the fashion-forward bride-to-be in mind. Opulent and spread over 32 acres, this legendary palace hotel resonated perfectly with the mood of the pictures. Capturing every moment expertly was Knotty Affair By Namit & Vipul who were deft behind the lenses ensuring that each photograph aptly reflected the true essence of the occasion. Furthermore, celebrity makeup artist and hairstylist Tamanna Rooz used her unbridled creativity to make sure each look was picture perfect regardless of the angle! Finally, helming the style department was The Pink Circus who tied each look together flawlessly.
Antique Grandeur
Traditional, and yet fresh, this bride was a portrait of elegance as she donned stunning antique jewelry pieces designed by Sri Krishna Jewellers. A dainty maang tikka was perched prettily on her forehead which beautifully complemented her kohl-lined eyes, while a pearl fringed choker necklace paired with a diamond-studded mala of mango motifs strung together sat snugly on her collar bones. Chaandbali jhumkas swayed to her every move while ornate gold bangles flaunting complex Indian patterns graced her wrists. Tying the entire look together was a nakshi designed waist belt that held her luxurious yellow and silver embroidered lehenga from Jayanti Reddy together. The makeup also merged seamlessly with the plush aura of the look with its shimmery gold eye shadow and deep red pout.
Regal Polki
A perfect fusion of traditional and contemporary, this look was an apt reflection of the modern Indian bride. Studded with Polki, which is an uncut diamond in its raw and pure form, this look was sleek, glamorous yet decidedly Indian. A layered polki necklace and a matching set of jade drop stone earrings delightfully contrasted the regal blue hue of the lehenga artfully designed by Jayanti Reddy. Framing the face was a gorgeous polki encrusted maang tikka with a deep green emerald in the center. Completing the look was a sparkling bracelet, nude makeup and a ‘gajra’ made up of heady jasmine flowers.
Elegant Pachi
Adorned with statement-making, pearl fringed pachi encrusted necklaces whose glimmer cannot be outshined, this look is for the quintessential Indian bride. A combination of pearls and gold beads, the maang tikka and Chaandbali jhumkas complement the necklace flawlessly. A bangle balances the heavy jewelry on top while smokey eyes and a maroon pout work in sync with the rich red lehenga designed by Jayanti Reddy.
Sleek Diamonds
There’s a reason why diamonds are called a girl’s best friend! Incredibly versatile, not to mention ultra-luxurious, these gems are a worthy addition to any bridal jewelry box. Ideal for the minimalist bride, the first look consisted of an intricately designed diamond necklace paired with a matching bangle and ring whose cool silvery sheen was a striking contrast with the gorgeous red monochrome floral lehenga designed by Shriya Som from her ‘Sanctuary’ collection.
This one’s for bold brides who don’t mind a dash of color with their diamonds, the second look consisted of layered necklaces crafted out of diamonds, pearls and emeralds. Dangling emerald and diamond-encrusted earrings from Sri Krishna Jewellers softly brushed the bride’s neck while a floral design emerald statement ring stepped up the style stakes. Classic brown smokey eyes and a nude lip subtly added to the bride’s allure.
Gracefully Floral
The perfect highlight to this refreshing white floral lehenga designed by Shriya Som was an equally delightful floral necklace and earring set. Adorned with red flowers that sported diamonds in the center, this set catches the eye instantly with its unique design. Paired with a whimsical ring shaped like a bird taking flight, and flashing diamond bangles, this look was truly exotic and yet unconventional!
For the second look, it was glamor all the way with a magnificent diamond necklace that had a gleaming ruby in the center. Accentuating the beauty of this jaw-dropping necklace designed by Sri Krishna Jewellers was a pair of delicate matching diamond earrings, each with a ruby set in the centre. Soft gold eye shadow and a bright red lippy made both these looks insta-worthy!
