Actress Akansha Ranjan, daughter of Shashi and Anu Ranjan and a close friend of Alia Bhatt, tied the knot with filmmaker Sharan Sharma, best known for directing Gunjan Saxena and Mr. & Mrs Mahi, in an intimate Mumbai celebration. From the lush ceremony arch to the elegantly styled tablescapes, every detail reflected effortless romance. Complementing the enchanted garden aesthetic, WeddingSutra Favorite – Speciality Experiences curated a botanical-inspired grazing table featuring artisanal cheeses, Mediterranean delicacies, seasonal produce and elegant small bites. Beautifully presented and thoughtfully crafted, the culinary experience blended fresh flavours with artistic presentation, creating memorable moments that were every bit as delightful as the celebration itself.
Reception
The celebrations continued with a grand reception at JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu, where National Decorators curated an elegant setting for the evening. Known for their signature transformations of the venue, the décor struck the perfect balance between grandeur and sophistication as the newlyweds celebrated with family, friends and colleagues from the film fraternity.
The reception brought together an illustrious guest list from the worlds of cinema, television and fashion. Among those in attendance were Sonakshi Sinha with her parents, the Roshan family, Sonu Nigam, Jackie Shroff, Mahesh Bhatt, Anu Malik, Neena Gupta and several other prominent personalities, making it a memorable celebration of love and togetherness.
