Alanna Pandey, Actor Ananya Pandey’s cousin and LA-based model, and influencer, tied the knot with photographer and long-time boyfriend Ivor McCray in Mumbai with spectacular celebrations at the iconic Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai. Pictures of the star-studded affair displayed striking decor, festivities, and trend-setting wedding couture.
Daughter of Chikki Pandey (brother of Chunky Pandey) and fitness expert and author Deanne Pandey, Alanna met her Ivor 3 years ago while working as a model. The perfect combo of artist and muse, the couple live in LA, working and traveling the world together. With Instagram pictures of her surprise proposal in the Maldives, Alanna had previously shared, “Didn’t realize it was possible to love another human this much until I met you. Thank you for making me smile every day and loving me unconditionally. You truly make me the happiest human on this planet @ivor I can’t wait to have a family with you!”
Bridal Party
Alanna celebrated her pre-wedding bridal party with a romantic white-themed brunch at her home in Mumbai, which was attended by close friends and family members like Ananya and Ahaan Panday. Soft, floral decor lent a dreamy vibe to the occasion, which Alanna also chanelled with her embellished white mini-dress and long wavy tresses.
Mehndi
The couple kicked off the festivities with a tropical-themed mehndi soiree hosted at actor Sohail Khan’s Mumbai residence, which saw Ananya Pandey, Aaliyah Kashyap, Helen, Salma Khan, Ahaan Panday, Karan Mehta, Alvira Khan Agnihotri, Atul Agnihotri, and Alaviaa Jaaferi among others. Alanna’s whimsical green lehenga set fashion goals for modern brides planning a spring wedding!
Haldi
The vibrant Haldi brunch celebration was held at Panday House, Alanna’s family home in Khar, Mumbai. The couple and their loved ones enjoyed a joyous and colorful event designed with the theme of iconic Italian markets i.e Piazza Del Mercato. Dressed in embroidered ivory ensembles by Payal Singhal, the stunning couple was a portrait of happiness.
Wedding
Inspired by their love of nature, their wedding, dubbed “white whisper”, saw a magical, fairytale-like, enchanted forest theme to depict the resilience of nature, featuring birds in flight, a soothing water element, forest sounds, and a customized fragrance to evoke the smell of the earth. The couple opted for unique ensembles of pure white to match the pristine, tranquil mood of the decor. What followed the wedding was a night of rousing music and dance, where brother Ahaan, cousin and actor Ananya Pandey, and uncle Chunky Pandey were seen grooving to “Saat Samundar”.
