Hardik Pandya and Natasa Stankovic, Raffles Udaipur
The cricketer tied the knot with a magical destination wedding on Valentines Day.
Ace cricketer Hardik Pandya and model-actor Natasa Stankovic renewed their vows on February 14 amidst the palatial splendor of Raffles Udaipur, one of the grandest venues in Rajasthan. The couple shared their love with their fans on Instagram with dreamy pictures and a heartfelt message saying “We celebrated Valentine’s Day on this island of love by renewing the vows we took three years ago. We are truly blessed to have our family and friends with us to celebrate our love.”
The wedding celebration was a fusion of diverse themes and atmospheres, with each day curated thoughtfully by WeddingSutra Favorite – Shreem Events to reflect the couple’s love story, personalities, and cultural roots. From a grand combined baraat to translators for easy communication between their Indian and Serbian guests, symbolic nods to their beloved pets in the celebrations, and more, every last detail was immaculately crafted to make the wedding unique and personal.
The guests were welcomed with traditional performances by Kalbalia musicians and ghoomar dancers and treated to a European-inspired welcome brunch. The first day saw a grand “ceremony of vows” or white wedding, for which Natasa was seen in a gorgeous white gown with a veil while Hardik wore a stunning black suit. The evening culminated in a vibrant club-themed after-party.
The second day kicked off with a colorful mehndi brunch with a plethora of traditional experiences and local flavors to delight the guests, such as a lakh bangle maker, traditional block printing craftswomen to design personalized scarves that served as keepsakes, an astrology station with parrot, and more.
The Hindu wedding included a show-stopping baraat and a larger-than-life ceremony that featured a rich, jewel-toned color scheme. Natasa looked every bit the beguiling Indian bride in gold, beige, and red embellished lehenga, while Hardik looked dapper in an off-white embroidered sherwani, both of which were custom-made by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla.
The celebrations were topped off with an unconventional post-wedding sangeet, featuring dance performances by friends and family members and a customized playlist curated by the DJ. The couple looked dazzling in exquisite embroidered ensembles by Manish Malhotra.
Everything, from the wedding stationery to the guest hampers, was custom-crafted with small but thoughtful gestures that blended and honored their roots and cultures. The ceremony booklets for the Hindu wedding were available in both English and Serbian to ensure all guests understood the rituals. In a Serbian wedding tradition, girls gave boutonnieres to the men before the ceremony of vows, while Agasthya, their son, was the designated ring bearer to make the event even more special. A 360-degree round photo booth, polaroid guest books, flower showers, and special effects all added a touch of magic to the occasion.
After a whirlwind romance, the couple had gotten engaged in January 2020 with a dreamy yacht proposal, welcomed their son, and tied the knot later the same year in a private ceremony.
